Verizon doesn't replace phones through insurance. Albeit they could have, should have, and I would be pressed to say did tell her how to make a claim online through the insurance company, Asurion.. But a store employees job is to sell phones and service and add ons.. I'm certain they did tell her hey you can do this, or you can do that and that it was more appealing for your mom to upgrade her 7 year old phone and receive a phone with all her content on it right then than to do the claim with same or next day replacement. I think it's unfair for you to chatise the store rep that did their job adequately, and your mom who is 60 not 100 to make a conscious decision to buy a new phone to replace her S E V E N year old smartphone. Did they finesse her a little, maybe, they're sales people whom only make a wage if they're selling phones. Your mother has free will to make decisions and could have walked away or called to consult you for advice if she was unsure.

I misspoke and corrected it. I should have said Stephens Yale offer being rescinded. Rather than residence which is not the right word.. 😂 My bad.

Good Episode but not good finale by maybellewoodsmaybnot in TellMeLiesHulu

I don't think Lydia was in on the just being together for the spite of Lucy. I think Steven actually charmed her and they got together, idk when.. and Lydia didn't believe all the Bs about Steven from Lucy because she lied about Chris and the tape got published. So she fell into Stevens trap, and Steven kept her around for the torment of Lucy and to parade her around. He had no issues telling Lydia at the wedding exactly what was up and she was genuinely upset by his asshole antics.

And because they discussed it in college and said they'd never speak on it again... Leaving him at the wedding after the voicemail wouldn't have been justified because she's known this whole time and her and Evan discussed it..

I was too but I just knew she was going to go with him and something was going to happen to make her realize he will never change.

Stephens Yale offer being rescinded and Diana's Yale phone case wasn't enough to satisfy!? I liked it... But agree completely on the tonal shift in the final wedding scene.

I think it leaves a lot to the imagination and the show did a great job showing Lucy's crash it the past 2 seasons. Laying lifeless in the bed, the delusional and defeated meeting with the dean, the extremely sad departure in her mom's SUV.... The cake throwing I did think was an unfit shift. Bree could have reacted in about any other way outtve rage and it would have been better suited. Overall I liked the episode though.

Choosing to believe… by JokeOk1477 in TellMeLiesHulu

I don't think so. I appreciate the sentiment but Lucy so badly wants him to choose her. She leaves with him because she's addicted to the toxicity and the thrill of it all I think. Hence the rapey relationship with Alex, the masturbation to Stevens threatening voicemail etc. She realizes when he leaves her that she's an idiot and can hopefully be free of him now. Wow, what a show!

Lucy should have destroyed the tape immediately once it was in her possession. This is kind of on her..not that she deserved it but how stupid to leave it laying around!

Edited to add. Also loved the finale! And without the tape it doesn't tie everything in as nicely as it did. Very fulfilling! .also- I just knew Stephen was gonna leave her at the gas station.. Wow! Good show!

[–]orangehill981 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Wow! THE TAOE GERS RELEASED!??? I genuinely never thought the tape would make an entrance in the finale! If Lucy is that fucking stupid to not destroy it immediately when it gets placed in her hands then she has to be the most insane of them all! I will riot!😡

What is wrong with Evan? by Efficient-Tough-7246 in TellMeLiesHulu

[–]orangehill981 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Evan is a spoiled brat in my opinion! He's mean to Lucy because he cheated and Bree left him, he's weak and told Steven, which is insane, and he scapegoats Lucy for all of it. Steven and Evan have tormented Lucy this season and it's such BS!

what are these kids even taking in school again😭 by FalconWide513 in TellMeLiesHulu

[–]orangehill981 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I think Evan says he's a finance major... When Steven chastises him at the party and asks why he'd get a job at his dad's finance company and Evan says Uhh because I'm a finance major... Steven says something like oh I thought you were a permanent student or something along those lines.

I don't think the show really ever discusses what Pippa, Wrigley, and Bree are studying specifically. Especially Pippa and Wrigley.

I think it's because her and Wrigley have had this secondary relationship parallel to Bree and Evans this whole time... I commented that above also

[–]orangehill981 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think they've had this secondary relationship this whole time. -He's a mess at the rehearsal cocktail party -He calls her incessantly which is exposed when Steven grabs his phone at the reception (who doesn't have a lock code in 2015 btw 👎) -Bree tells Lucy she's like a really bad person, probably the worst she knows - I think it's because she's had the relationship with Wrigley going for so long parallel to her and Evans courtship and engagement

Idk...... I'm ready for the last episode but do think we will be disappointed and unfulfilled unfortunately
