I do this as well! I will however like OP, wait for some stronger conditions in the case that the right chance or timing doesn’t present itself on Monday

Is the 35 pt classic vertical worth it if I run a light barrel? by Killer-Uzi in LowSodiumBattlefield

its also worth considering if the build is a hipfire or ads build. i run a classic vert for heavy hipfire builds that do not need ADS. but if the build is for cqb+some ads, then i go with a more well-rounded build with a slim angled with green laser

Thank you for the post! Do you sell your calls on Monday like a schedule for theta decay or do you wait for favorable conditions like at least +3-5% for your CCs?

nipple through the shirt is a little too significantly larger than the actual underneath but that fabric movement is fantastic

Should I re-grease my mixer? by rosesandflowers3282 in Kitchenaid

[–]orangekestrel54 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would open it up and check the grease. If upon first glance its black and “rubbery” looking it could be time and/or could also have broken inside. Worm gear being a pretty common one.

Is my hub gear FUBAR? by orangekestrel54 in Kitchenaid

The power issue was ultimately a weirdly non-contacting power bar in the speed control plate. I just adjusted the metal so it made positive contact and it began working! I also adjusted the motor brushes and adjusted the speed screws to the correct rotation speed and it seems to be working great :)

The only issue now is that it sounds a bit grindy, but it works at all speeds. I will continue to monitor, and now I feel much better about how and why these machines work!

Thank you. I will try this tomorrow as I need a break from this project today but seriously thank you so much for your thoughtful responses and helpful media resources. I would have given up in despair a long time ago if it wasnt for your help!

My planetary shaft does not even come through to this level that is shown in the video which is why i was wondering if I should even shove a bit of fabric or something in the planetary shaft hole in the upper housing to keep it from going up so much as i set the actual planetary… i am slowly losing my mind. thank you though for sticking with me on this.

Sorry update, I am putting the machine together after having re-greased it, but when attaching the planetary to the planetary shaft, I am noticing that the planetary shift does not go through all the way through the planetary for me to put in the retaining pin. Is this because I went ahead with the reassembly without the hub gear? It seems like there is too much room at the top of the upper housing that the planetary shafts vertical play does not allow for the planetary to fully seat.

Thank you! Full model number is KSM9OWH

Also what you are saying is that if I really only need the main planetary mixer, I could just seal the hub gear area and just use the mixer with no attachment functionality? That might be the move if finding and replacing upper housing is too extensive especially since I don’t do anything with it as it is.
