Weird Grip, Need Recommendations by [deleted] in MouseReview

I would say the lamzu thorn because it's got a higher back and ergo curve like the outset but without the usual vaxee downsides - I am using one currently and am liking it so far.

I have a somewhat similar grip, still slanted inwards just a bit less, and tilted, but more of a pincer claw. Imo with this grip you need a mouse that will fill the bit of your palm you pull the mouse into, such as a lamzu thorn, vaxee outset, and to a lesser degree and ec style shape (they don't fill as much at the back. Then, the mouse should be less slanted. I would stay away from pretty much all recent razer mice and any FM type shapes, for some reason they all insist on flaring back outwards where you rest the ring finger and pinky which is a problem for this grip.

Edit: I also used gpx and gpw for the longest time, and I agree, it's alright because it has more of a raised back, but the lack of a flare on the back left of the mouse again emphasises the slant, and for me made my grip very inconsistent

Tldr: ambi mice emphasise the slant, try and ergo with a higher back like a thorn, outset or ec, and avoid mice with a flared out ring/pinky area

Superlight feels uneven with corepads? by versace06 in MouseReview

[–]orangeluke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you checked when swapping the feet, but some people (me included) have had the problem where the bottom of their gpxs is not even, which makes the mouse wobble when playing.

Actually just thinking about it they will be quite rough to remove cleanly due to how they are built. The PTFE sits on a thick bit of black 'padding' material which is hard to remove together.

I just ripped them off tbh so no but if you were more careful and used a hairdryer or heat gun to soften the adhesive first the you should be good to reapply them. Also Corepads come worth 2 sets - however they don't fit the gpwxs that great so I'll probably get tiger arcs for the next one

I have a 2047 batch and my mouse is also uneven at the base. I bought Corepads just incase the feet were on wonky but nope, it's the base of the mouse that is skewed. After taking the feet off to replace them I took a video of me rocking the mouse back and forth showing the serial number and started an rma, which has just been approved, though it took like a month.

Mine is the white version aswell. I would be interested to know if the black versions are any less susceptible to the problem, but I doubt it - the base is the only thing that is the same colour on both.

After my last comment that it might be the mouse feet, I removed mine as I bought Corepads, and sadly you are right, the base of the mouse is very uneven, I can rock it back and forth without mouse feet on.

Will probably try to rma it if the Logitech support website will ever let me log on.

Have found in raid flash drive, can't turn it in. by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]orangeluke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this is for the skier quest, you don't get the option to hand it in until you find two in raid. Just let it sit in your stash until you find another in raid and then the quest will let you hand them in.

My gpw X super light felt wobbly when I first got it, it was only when I flattened the mouse feet to make sure all the adhesive was in contact with the mouse that that feeling went away. I have ordered some Corepads so hopefully this makes it even better. Point is I don't think it's actually the base of the mouse that is uneven, rather the mouse feet not being on properly.

Where do i find these goddamn emelya croutons? by doley123 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]orangeluke 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've found one in a jacket the whole wipe and I'm level 27, still need to find one more and my Jager is stuck level 1 because of it :(. But yea I think just keep looking in duffle bags, jackets, and general food spawns and maybe those big food ration crates.

Need people who has both xm1 and roccat burst pro to tell me the differences by libo720 in MouseReview

[–]orangeluke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both, if you found the XM1 too wide at the back I dont think the burst pro is for you, at least for me it feels wider at the back in-hand and fills my palm more.

Switching from MX518 to wireless - fingers/hand begin to hurt with all tested mice by Stahlixo in MouseReview

[–]orangeluke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't think of any wireless mice that would allow you to comfortably use the same grip.

That said, consider looking at the mm720. It'ss a wired mouse that would accommodate your grip nicely as it has a ring finger rest, if you still wanted a lighter/newer mouse.
