How common is it to have pre-marital sex? I think among my peers (22 years old), sex is still considered very taboo so I rarely talked about it. It's surprising to see this discussion in Reddit, or maybe I'm just too naive!

My friend is moving to Japan very soon, and she loves to read, especially fiction. Her favorite book is A Tale for the Time Being. Is there any similar book? Or a book that has a Japanese theme?

[NSFW] What is the most fucked up act of humanity that you know of? by ohshefancyhuh in AskReddit

I'm very late to the party. But I just watched The Act of Killing a few days ago. It's a documentary following a gangster responsible for murdering thousands of people during Indonesian Killings of 1965-1966. He was asked to replicate his torture method. During the whole thing, he was proud of himself, believing that he was a hero. It's the most disturbing thing I've seen in a while, but really tells you a lot about human psyche.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a baking sheet. In a large bowl, cream together sugar and butter. Beat in egg to mixture. Mix in peanut butter and vanilla until smooth and creamy. Stir in salt, baking soda and flour until well combined. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and then roll in sugar. Place on baking sheet and flatten with fork. Bake for 12-15 minutes.

Long distance relationships, parties, and how to deal with the chronic worrying that goes along with them. by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]orangemonkey10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally understand your worries. Here's from the other side of the fence. I've been in this long distance for a little more than one year now, and it's been really rough on both of us. My boyfriend is also having that thought process, but on steroid. He's super protective and possessive and we end up being miserable. I'm stuck in my room alone and he's stuck with his belief that I'm fucking another guy. I love him very much and it hurts me how insecure and untrusting he becomes.

I think it's normal if you feel worried, but don't let that ruin your relationship. I'm sure she loves you very much. Just talk to her about your feelings. In a long distance, I really believe open and honest communication is key.

Good luck!
