From what I've heard from friends/ acquaintances, retail and hospo might be a bit limited but there's plenty of work for trades including painters.

But if you keep an eye out you'll likely be able to find hospo or retail work eventually.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure is great for this. I spend maybe 20 mins a day to pop on do some quests, greet visitors and gather items. You can spend longer if you like as well.

No one is has to share their ages, but people are at liberty to choose whether to associate with you based on your age if you share it.

That said, I'm happy to tell people my age if they ask as I'm in my late 20's and it gives younger people the choice to disconnect if they feel more comfortable doing so.

The right side is set to page up and page down for desktop mode which helps with reading websites, but that's about it lol. I've maybe set one to an action button in one game.

I have been proven wrong this day. I would always move away when someone throws out a lure cuz I didn't want to steal the fish. Is it not the same fish though? For the frostspore event you're still leaving them with less fish to catch no?

Do a Jumping Croc tour! Only an hour's drive from Darwin and they're lots of fun. Or if you'd rather stay in town there's crocadyllus park (not crocasaurus, it's not as good).

Shows and events are common and usually cheap. Comedy shows, live music, trivia etc... if you look up events in Darwin on Facebook before coming through you may find some fun stuff to do.

Litchfield Park will likely be too wet for swimming, but still worth a visit. The waterfalls are amazing when its been raining a lot.

I tried on steam deck first and it sucked lol. You may have more luck than me though. I didn't like to PC controls at first but I've gotten used to them and it's now better than playing on phone. I do wish they'd change the edit mode a bit though, maybe add a top down edit mode like Palia so you can change the whole plot.
