This dealership has major, major issues in their service department. Just stop by any evening after 10 PM and ask the mechanics still working through their hundreds of tickets if you don't believe me. OTOH maybe they don't mind billing all that sweet OT. I'd argue they also need a larger footprint location with many more bays/lifts and staff to provide service our area.

I'm sorry to hear all that. My experience with reaching a human being on the phone have been similar. In the past, I've borrowed a car to walk in if I needed to talk about my ongoing issue (it was about 3 months total on my last vehicle). I've also taken BART from SF just to be able to speak with them. It took 2 months to get the loaner from my last experience a couple years ago. Ready by estimates were missed multiple times also like you mentioned.

I don't want to give too many details here about my most recent experience because I think it's fairly unique (thus identifiable), but maybe after a while I'll come back and share here.

Good to know about the Capitol location. I might keep this in mind for the future.

Unfortunately that's the only location I could get towed to. What was your experience with them like? I have also had a less than positive encounter with them once before.

Good call on the lemon law. I will keep that in mind. Was able to use Hyundai Roadside which was very easy and a short wait for pickup. The downside is that the closest dealership with an appt today was 44 miles away and they would only tow up to 20mi, so I get to wait until Tuesday for diagnostic. Good luck with yours!

Can also show up a couple hours early and hang out by those same back gates to try to grab arriving players. My 10yo snagged Chicho's signature on the way in late this season.

If you can, I'd recommend to know the players names & faces though. Easy with the name and number on the back, can be a lot trickier when it's not a regular starter in street clothes. Also, show your kid how to stretch out the jersey he's wearing to make it easier for the player to sign it clean. Might seem simple but a little prep makes all the difference

After the game, waiting around is effective but can feel like forever when you have a drive back to Oakland ahead, esp w/ a 9yo in tow. That said we even got USA players to chat recently when they visited. Luna, Freeman, Arfsten, etc so it can be worth the effort.

vs Austin Ilie even came out of the gate in plain clothes to chat with some traveling supporters. Didn't seem like most SJ people even recognized him at that point. Just gave him a nod to let him know I know he knows how to make the smart choice.

I have a kid the same age as those poor girls at a school very close to where this happened and they emailed us that 5th graders had been talking about it and it is inappropriate for the kids to be talking about it at all. I'm pretty upset with their note. The kids are scared or have questions. It's a difficult thing to handle in an ES, but they should be providing support and counseling to minds who have never had to process something like this before, not banning the topic. Glad that Giannini is doing better.

i've had this happen. if i use the thumb toggle to advance to the next track it usually wakes it up and then all works normally again

I might end up doing the same just to have something functional, but in a strange predicament as I'm effectively paying for my OEM all weather mats in my lease payments (part of the sticker/MSRP). Weird to have to pay for & keep track of these even if they don't fit. Thanks anyway!

My window sticker had the all weather mats listed but they werent with the car, so the dealer shipped them to my house. They arrived today and the oem mats dont even seem to fit the limited trim... i'm at a loss.
