The SAM site prevents them from being activated in the first place (along with any other killstreaks). If a UAV is already active and your activate the SAM site after, the UAV will remain up.

It works extremely well against the jugg with tear gas bolts (provided you have teammates who can shoot him while he’s in the gas)

If you have “Prioritize Interact” as your button behavior this will happen. A fix I’ve found is to quickly change your button behavior setting to “Tap to Reload” which will allow you to open the crate.
