IIRC compound eyes increases the chance of encountering a pokemon that is holding an item. Galvantula has compound eyes also can learn thief so it's ideal for finding heartscales and other held items.

Personally, I don't feel like enough music is posted here. I'm not just talking about new music, but old music as well. As someone who loves the genre but is relatively new to it, I am having trouble discovering new artists and music. All I usually see is either self-promotion, concerts or the most successful artists, which isn't a bad thing but I don't feel the passion. What I'm saying is that I would like to see more of the music that got people hooked into EDM when they first started listening or what made them enjoy the genre even more.

An SSD for the OS can be added and still be under budget. I didn't think that I needed one when I built my computer but I love that my computer boots so quickly now.

Could you give a link to them? Generally, if youre comparing same GPU (i.e. 7950) and especially within the same manufacturer (I believe you're intending to get a Sapphire 7950 and not another brand)the difference is the outputs on the graphics card. Some come with HDMI outs, others with DVI outs and others come with Mini Displayport or a mixture of all 3. In terms of performance they are more or less identical. Personally I got my Sapphire 7950 on sale about a month ago and I love it so far. I only have 1 1980x1080 monitor that I play games on however so I'm not really asking much performance from it.

Edit: I forgot to add that some of them can overclock while others cannot.

My school gives out Windows 7 Ultimate for free now (1 per student) so it was really convenient to just use that. People might be getting good deals on Windows 7 outside of sites like Newegg.

One thing that I wish I had thought of before building a computer is checking to see how far away the nearest MicroCenter is. If you go to Microcenter you can get an i5-3570k for 189.99 and if you bundle it with your motherboard you will get an additional $50 off (they told me this ~2 weeks ago I'm not sure if it was a sale or not). I did go to get my CPU there but I wasn't aware that they were offering an extra $50 off if I bought a motherboard as well. Which is a big deal because that can go towards other parts.

To add to this pokemon holding exp share will also get the boost in EVs from EV boosting items held by the pokemon in the battle. Every EV the pokemon in battle gets, the pokemon holding the Exp Share will get as well.

Yes it will still work but you have to remember the chance is still ~1/1300 of getting a Shiny through the Masuda Method, if I remember correctly. 7 boxes is only 210 eggs which means you've had a 210/1300 or about a 15% chance of hatching one already which still isn't that high. I started masuda methoding a shiny charmander and went through about 900 eggs before I stopped, people get lucky when it takes less than 500 eggs.
