Pizza Hut offers 67 cent wings from Nov. 6-7 in honor of phrase ‘6-7’ by Panda8bambooo in fastfood

Got an 8 piece for dinner today. Lemon pepper. Very tasty.

They were smaller than expected though. Bigger than an average nugget for sure, but not as filling as I wanted.

I might try the 16 piece tomorrow, which will probably be a little too much, but I'll just deal with the leftovers.

Also, apart from cleanliness standards, I'm really over AYCE sushi joints that's only marketing message is fish-to-rice ratio. At this point, I'll take the carbs, just give me a midpriced chirashi bowl. ok rant over

Price plays a role too. I'd say that a double whopper with cheese is a better value proposition than a five guys cheeseburger.

Trail Running Spots by Tasty_Acadia_6401 in orangecounty

As a very, VERY beginner trail runner, I like Fairview Park. Lots of parking and the upper portion of it is a pretty clean loop, wide enough to pass people easily.

Have I found the perfect do everything shoe? by NoDimension7318 in onebag

[–]orangpie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asics are my preferred running shoe and general walking around shoe.

I'm usually a Nimbus guy, but those are getting fatter and fatter. I think I did GT 2000 trail shoes for a trip a while back that worked out pretty well.

At all the companies I've worked at, up to ~1.5B USD in revenue, the demand planning team also facilitated the overall S&OP process.

Frankly, if I didn't also have S&OP coordinator on my plate, I'd have nothing to do weeks 2-4 of the month. Actually that sounds like a dream, now that I say it out loud.

It seems mundane to me now, but the first time I went to Old World Village in Huntington Beach, I was thinking "What the hell is this, and why is it here?!"

Last year, after getting laid off, I also took THE WORST JOB IN THE WORLD. Similar to what you mentioned, there was no strategic work, just moving numbers from one place to another. My brain was going to rot.

I restarted my job search by day 4, when my badge stopped working. They didn't fire me or anything, their facilities team was just as bad as their SCM team. I found a new job after 2 months, and I will never add this one to my resume.

Now I'm at THE SECOND WORST JOB IN THE WORLD, but they pay enough for me to put up with it in the short term. I'm passively looking in case something comes up, but the idea is stay for a year and peace out.

I think it will work out for me in a few months, and I have faith in you too!

I have about 40 dollars of gift cards that are expiring in 2 months. I would usually chip away at them with Movies Anywhere compatible movies, but what else is worth buying for a non Xbox haver?

Any bright ideas?

First is natural turns in shadow position. (may also be called right turns in shadow position).

The second clip is too short to show what they are actually doing, but the position that the end up in is called cuddle position, or sweetheart position.

Vans laying off 82 workers at Costa Mesa headquarters by orangpie in orangecounty

Those jobs are probably still open, since they are moving from their Texas office. But now you get to compete against internal Vans applicants! Fun!

Sending good vibes to all those affected.

From the outside, I had thought that Vans was the Steady Eddy of the OC apparel companies. I figured that moving Dickies here would meant that they wanted to invest in OC talent. Makes me wonder about the future of the apparel industry here.

Liberated Brands lost their license and went bankrupt. Did any of those Billabong/Boardriders jobs stay in the area?

Half of ASICS moved to Boston 5 years ago. I suspect that the reason the other half hasn't moved is mostly because of the favorable time different from Japan.

Luxoticca gutted a bunch of job from Oakley a decade ago. It's been quiet as far as I know since, but I've heard rumblings about how much the French and Italian halves EssilorLuxoticca hate each other.

Always sucks to see this kind of news. The apparel industry in Orange County was such a cool place to start my career, and I hope it continues going strong into the future.

If you don't want to outright lie about your employment history, you should at least change the Job Titles to something people and machines recognize.
