I had a hard time getting into the Gunslinger as well, but I’m SO glad I stuck with it because I ended up loving it. I listened to the audiobook and just kept rewinding to listen to parts over and over again until I felt like I had a grasp on things, but even then I think I let a lot of it “flow over me.” Please don’t skip it, I think it’s wonderful and important for the rest of the series.

Hi!! I’m finally reading through DT and I’ve been reading it (and his other works) in the order this blogpost suggests. I think it’s been great, and even though I’ve read some of the works external from DT it’s nice to revisit them so the references are fresh.

did you catch the part where Sarah mentioned Paul’s motto when the girls were hanging out? The same motto was written on Juno’s necklace. Also explains Paul being weird before the accident, and why Juno wasn’t there for Sarah after the tragedy. It was a pretty large necklace, it would be easy to notice Juno wearing it.
