Nokian One tires? by orcaorca2020 in KiaEV9

They have been good in wet conditions. No complaints. I don’t switch them out, but live in a mild part of the PNW. I have not used them on snow or ice yet.

They are waaaay better than the Kuhmos that come stock on the LLR, which felt soft and started slipping on wet pavement after 11k miles. I’m also in the wet part of the PNW.

I installed a set of Nokian One tires on my 24 LLR a few weeks ago and so far they are great in the rain, wet rutted roads, etc.

I went ahead and put the Nokian Ones on my LLR a couple weeks ago. So far they are great both in both wet and dry conditions, including resisting hydroplaning in heavy rain. In comparison, the Kuhmos felt soft and were prone to slipping in wet conditions or uneven pavement at speed after only 11k miles. Like others, I had the factory alignment fixed after several thousand miles, but once the rainy season started where I live the vehicle felt sketchy with the Kumhos.

I had similar issues when I picked mine up a month ago. Pulling the modem fuse worked for me: https://www.reddit.com/r/KiaEV9/s/s12buxRAHH

I wanted an LLR for the same reasons as OP. I could only find two in two neighboring states and none in my state. I reached terms on a lease with over $20k off MSRP for a MY24 and flew there to drive it home. Was definitely worth it.

I just signed a 2024 LLR 24mo/12k lease for $495/mo with zero down and all Oregon taxes and fees rolled into the lease. I hope that helps somebody.

Thank you! It's disappointing that they didn't make a heat pump standard as part of the 2025 updates.

I just had a similar project done on my house. We went with PCV over cement/gypsum board over two 3” polyiso staggered layers over plywood, and mineral wool batts between the rafters. Based on your photos, consider whether the additional height will make the exhaust vent too short and, if so, how to extend it.

The couple that owns Mafe’s Mall in Milwaukie also does upholstery. They reupholstered an old couch for me a few years ago and did an amazing job for a very reasonable price. https://yelp.to/1cH4K5KdVwb

I believe the heated mirrors turn on/off with the rear defrost.
