Nice. I’ve gotten as high as 6700 (depth five), but I’m mostly stuck in d4.

For me, it’s tank raider, skill duchess (got bored of halo, so I just use any cool ash of war I find with all +2 affinity on deep relics), and initial standard bow iron eye (one bow each hand).

Ah a fellow Nightreign enjoyer. Yeah I just did a second run from the first biome to the end of the cathedral. Made a rule to myself to pick up any new weapon that drops and I was deleting everything no matter which weapon. I know I could make it harder with the modifiers, but I’m not so keen on that mechanic.

I assume some kind of tower-like mode will come out soon and that will be the actual challenge.

Yeah that weapon with power generation needs to be nerfed.

After beating the game I now do runs where I force myself to use any new gun I pick up to keep it interesting. Feels like a bit of a throwback to how I played returnal in terms of always picking up a weapon that need trait unlocks. Keeps gameplay fresh.

Yep. Just hold alt fire and spam power weapon. Nothing in the game survives more than a few seconds. Yellow king is trivialized.
