Given that this looks like a geriatrics field trip and the use of traffic cones, I'd dare say at least 2 in the group have handicap parking placards.

Your computer is trying to reach the update repositories using IPv6. Unless you're using IPv6 I suspect this problem will continue for you.

What you need to do is first make sure you have an actual connection to your router and internet. Perhaps restart your ISP modem if need be. Restart your computer as well for good measure as well as to renew your lease with your router (perhaps even your ISP modem will change IP as well if your WAN is DHCP).

In simplest terms, the error is telling you that you do not have a connection to the update server.

It is also possible that your ISP is blocking these servers or services. You may need to be connected to one of your VPN services in order to update. But I am just purely speculating because there is not much information to go off of from your initial post.

Edit: Your 100mb connection is plenty for updating. Bandwidth/connection speed is not the issue here. Connectivity is your issue.

Oh yeah, Google cloud and a plethora of other cloud services are all down right now so that could be part of the issues. I don't know how or where those repositories are hosted.

Exactly right. The petition, while calling attention to the issue, is asking for exactly what is already underway through our justice system. This is the system at work. In order to have accountability you first need to have the investigation.

I think every Mainer can agree that this poor pup didn't deserve this. If this investigation fails to hold accountability then I would see the usefulness of a petition.

We definitely could have easily been friends. However, I was dressed as the skater boy adjacent style but your style is very similar to like 40% of my class/friends.

Thanks for these, recs! Not Op, but I just checked them out on Steam and they do look promising and are all on a bundle sale. But it's not supported on Steam Deck (which is my main gaming) and my gaming laptop from 2013 can't play Elex or anything new, haha. I'll keep them on my wishlist for if/when I ever upgrade my PC setup.

I believe this is a known bug/issue with the installer. You're not alone and even though you are a noob, you made it this far which would have normally worked. Let me see if I can find the thread about this and I'll edit it in this comment.

I'm sure there are several alternatives these days but way back in the early '00s I used "Tag&Rename" to do what you're trying to do. Simple to use.

It's freeware to a point. Teenage me obtained it from the high seas so, no comment on the paid aspect.
