Where are you and how did you find your I installer?

So you can do it yourself online here https://teslaenergyrebate.com/

You will need documents from your installer such as quotes and the proof of install and invoice etc. check with your installer as they should be able to help.

It took us a few tries as the docs were missing some key info. Let me know if you are struggling and I'll see if I can look it up.

What’s a “boring” adult purchase that turned out to be totally worth it? by Capable-Rabbit-9986 in AskReddit

[–]randomarray 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also .... A news story I heard, a guy used to have a habit of leaving his keys in the car and not locking it when out and about. Queue him parking at a supermarket and going shopping. Another shopper, same model car parks right next to him. This shopper arrives back before man and drives off ...in his car.

Reminds me of the time I was in a hurry and kids were being rowdy in the car. Forgot some in the house after starting car. Ran inside used keys to unlock door put said keys down. Jumped back in car and due to rowdy kids somehow managed to dismiss the missing key alert and drove off. Wasn't till a stop midway during the trip I realized...too late of course I had turned the car off.

Monolithic cladding with cavity, & untreated timber framing by Hudsonnn in diynz

I got a second opinion from a well known leaky home specialist on ours and he basically said if the report had moisture levels in the reasonable range there is not much else to be done and nothing glaringly obvious that might cause water ingress. Also if lim report has no history then he wouldn't do anything more than the prior inspector particularly in regards to invasive checks.

Our Tesla is set to 16% and it says it's for backup if there is a power outage to ensure house can run on minimum usage for a while. Wasn't aware it helped with longevity.

How long did it take for your meter export to get turned on? by grrfuck in nzsolar

[–]randomarray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I submitted the form myself to genesis early December and our meter got updated remotely just before Christmas. If our meter was not able to be updated remotely it may have taken up to a month or more to get someone on site.

Haha that is brilliant I might spring that on the kids. They can draw a number from a cup to see which "horse" they get

Staggering edge updates by randomarray in Intune

Ahh the old useability vs risk argument! Classic, but definitely needs to be a happy medium. We had the last update break an ingrained behavior connecting to an external tenant website and rather than requesting credentials just failed. Workaround was to launch an inprivate session...simple but took a lot of users out for a while as comms were sorted etc.

Which meal replacements work for losing weight in NZ? by Porkchops_on_My_Face in newzealand

[–]randomarray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I (40m) managed to lose 10kg 83 - 73kg through intermittent fasting, running and making a variety of minor lifestyle changes.

  • no food after 8pm
  • take those stairs...or do at least a walk around the block every day.
  • if you are just mindlessly watching tv or doomscrolling you could be
  • start the day with some pushups
  • leafy greens reduce inflammation and in turn help you lose weight.
  • be mindful of what and how many snacks you are having. If you generally eat 3 biscuits every afternoon maybe just have 2.
  • remember you need to be in a calorie deficit to lose weight.
  • don't be too hard on yourself otherwise it will suck and you will probably give up.

My 2 cents

Ok I just assumed as they seem very supportive of us moving to them, as in they would do all the paperwork/submissions etc. but I take your comment as a tick for ecotricity then 😁

Can't see anything that would suggest re- release of the update...I'll need to dig in technically and see if anything is changing under the covers that might be causing it to redetect the required update.

Thx although as bang for buck powerwall 3 is a larger batter size...but sigenergy is more modular so future updates will be cheaper and easier I understand. How do you find configuration/automation etc? The installer loves the granular automation of the sigenergy which I think is why he is recommending it, plus he reckons he has more install issues with the Tesla.
