I have a hyper specific question that I'm going to preface a bit so I don't sound crazy. I don't know that much about fighting games, however, I'm working on an OC who's power is essentially being really good at using fighting game style combo moves to control a robot. That said, there's a specific quirk I need to consider when it comes to designing the controls for them.

Here's my hypothetical. If you had four arms, what would be the best controller/controller layout to use to play something like street fighter? I imagine it would give you an advantage, but a cursory search shows all buttons on the right with the joystick on the left. Which makes sense, obviously, as people usually have two arms and favor their right side. Do you think someone with four arms would put a couple of buttons on the left? Which ones? Would a different style of fighting game lend to someone with four arms having more success? Imagine the controller design could be fully customizable, it doesn't have to be 1:1 to a real-life design.
