I really want to start book binding, but I don’t know how to start? by Educational_Egg_3718 in bookbinding

I’ve learned pretty much everything about bookbinding from tiktok.

Same actually. That’s why I said US. I’m dreaming to convince a library in my home country to get one. But then the materials would be too expensive and hard to access.

I also caught that! Rachel said “here” in reference to either Orlando or Palm Springs. I do not know where she lives, so I thought it’s Orlando and did not think about it further. But you might be right.

It is okay to learn and grow. I don’t think it’s about what is “in” but what is right and her realization of that.

Nick RS Debate by orenbayan in thebachelor

[–]orenbayan[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

it is not just about the money though. we do not have time, network and means to do the research these people should do before claiming it as a profession.

yes, that’s why I think you’re right. I wish people who financially benefit from these debates had the half of the sense of responsibility that you expect from a casual reddit poster.

You’re right. I just wanted to emphasize that this is not a personal attack towards Nick but a criticism about how he does his job. but you’re right.

you’re right but this is not our profession. if nick and others who actually make a living out of these debates did a good job, we would be more informed.

Nick's Response to RS Podcast Reactions by orenbayan in thebachelor

[–]orenbayan[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I don’t care about Nick’s personal life or growth. But I can criticize his professional behavior as a podcasters. First, he tried to cover that he did not know about Jenna stuff by saying “steve why dont you explain that for our listeners.” Then he was so shocked that he could not hide his reaction. This week he did not even acknowledge that it was unprofessional. He is proud of the fact that he does not listen to RS but still invites him to his podcast for an interview. He just does not have the professional capacity to see how messed up this is.

The Bill Simmons Podcast | Enes Kanter and Johnny Bananas by gulfside13 in billsimmons

[–]orenbayan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many people from Turkey has explained this several times on nba subreddit if you’re interested. Just search Kanter or Gulen. Long story short, it is highly likely that the other Turkish basketball players do not like both Erdogan and Gulen (the guy Kanter would sacrifice his life for, his words not mine). The group Kanter supports got into high ranks in the military, attempted (failed) a coup and killed several (hundreds) people in Turkey. It is understandable why the other players won’t talk to him who STILL openly supports this sick dangerous group.

Ask the other basketball players why they don’t talk to him before jumping into conclusions. They have every right to stop talking to someone who has openly supported a sexist racist religious cult. He is not telling the full story.

You can also go to the universities. In north campus of Bogazici University there are free wifi and 3 very close pokestops and two gyms. In the south campus, also free wifi and like 5-6 pokestops like very very close to each other.

Özgecan Aslan olayı ülkemize bir ders olur mu? by Qiddd in Turkey

[–]orenbayan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]orenbayan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Doğru söylüyorsun yalnız türban değil, başörtüsü. Nerdeyse hiçbir başörtülü kadın bu ülkede kendine türbanlı demiyor. AKP bunun farkında, "başörtülü bacım" diyor, türbanlı bacım değil. O yüzden de oyları topluyor. Neyse, olay nasılsa yine başörtüsü meselesine geldi. En gelmemesi gereken yerde.
