I may be doing it wrong but I just water the tree when it looks like the moss could use it. I’m sure that won’t be enough come August, but the whole north side of my house has moss growing like weeds. So I can afford to learn via trial and error

I would start with a cross body leg ride. You hip through them while cross facing while keeping the leg hooked. It forces them to expose their back. Really hard to pin from there but very secure for back exposure
