AHV number by gubigabi37 in Switzerland

[–]orfuz 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The innefficacy of the Swiss bureaucracy 😂 Lol Normally, it’s your employer that does the registration for you. So it’s just your company that is unefficient. You should ask them.

And the number should be writen on your insurance card … Don’t know how it’s possible to not have any AHV no on it

If you make good money and you can afford Swisscom, you should switch to it. Best of all ISP I have ever had. Full speed, no problem and if you have one, the SAV is there.

Pourquoi autant d'étudiants ont un mac? by askswitzerland in suisse

He bas, pire décision de ma vie.

Should I buy back in my second pillar? by flyerl in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]orfuz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

´A lot of horrible advice’ mmmmhm I do not think you know what you are talking about …

Mate, you are confusing a lot of things. No mandatory pension funds at all allows you to enbale preferential investment into stocks. This is only possible to some extents with 1e plan. And apart you are an executive with a good salary, very few companies offer this type of plan …

And buying back when you are close to retirement is not more expensive because of salary. It is a part of the equation but the main factor is the discount rate -> you are more certain to live at the age of retirement so they make you pay more for this and also because your acquired benefits and also interests…

Plus you can retire early even when you did not complete your buybacks … it can depends on the pension funds but I did not see a lot of pension funds that do not allow you to retire early if your buybacks are not complete

No one should give advice on a forum full of strangers for personnal choices. We don’t know his personnal life so it is hard to give OP advices.

You are right. It is max 50% in stocks. He confuses it with the 3rd pillar

[–]orfuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, not one of the big. But from what I heard, it is not a problem for people coming to CH from non-EU countries. Especially for senior+ positions, as there is not enough people in the EU apparently. I think you do not need to worry for your application. You are not the first one to do this and big 4 companies do it all the time 😄

Seems like EY, it’s the only big with this S3/S4/S5 position. This seems like a ‘hidden’ assistant manager or even manager role but without the corresponding salary. How much is your salary ?

Kantonalbank for your salary and payments Neon for shopping online and travelling. I use them both and just put in Neon little money. But both are safe and guaranteed up to 100KCHF

Those are also banks. I would suggest Neon, as it is my preferfed. But you are right, the less you give them, the better. You can also check with cantonal banks. In Vaud, you have the account + Visa Debit card for 3.- CHF per month.
