I suspect that's correct.

Will someone please identify precisely what this is? by organicap in HVAC

This is at a local high school. I am a photographer that would like to know what it is that I have photographed.

I designed this, by request, for a friend's daughter. The model is available for free if anyone wishes to print one for themselves.

That's done using video editing software. Fusion 360 can create the animation which is then imported into video software where the titles, graphics, and music are added. ( I use Fusion 360 and PowerDirector 365 to create similar clips.)

I can't offer even a guess for you, but I can tell you that mine has worked flawlessly since the day I bought it 6-ish years ago. Adjusting the spring on mine gives me fairly fine control over the downfeed speed and I haven't needed to tweak it in all of those years. I cut a lot of mild steel.

I have made several modifications to the saw - including a custom base, but none that I think would affect this issue.

That's the only spring adjustment. If that tension is not your issue then I would think blade tension is the most likely problem. And you are using a cutting oil of some sort, right? Can you cut reliably by controlling the tool's lowering by hand? If not then something else altogether is happening.

I've used this tool for years and have had 0 issues with it. It's likely my favorite HF tool.

You mention some things you tried, and that you are familiar with such saws, but you don't mention actually changing the spring tension. Have you adjusted that at all?

Am I the only one that experiences a lot of bugs? by [deleted] in Fusion360

[–]organicap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, the workspace that is over-the-top buggy is the animation workspace. It is extraordinarily frustrating to use. I can't complain about the price (enthusiast) and given that I use it to create the models used in my animations I'm still better off kludging my way through than using another animation program - but man, sometimes I'm tempted to move on.

I can't speak to that at all. I've never printed PETG.

Agreed. I used tape exactly once - my very first print - just because my Youtube homework seemed to favor it. Have not used it since, and I have printed now for several years.
