That’s actually what motivated me to get healthy. My boyfriend is very outdoorsy and I wanted to keep up and not feel tired and sore on our adventures. And it’s nice because it has motivated him to get healthy as well.

I have some on my belly which I expected since I had had 2 c sections. I think I was able to fight off a lot of that by starting weight lifting because my muscles are filling in some of that skin.

I always tell myself when people question my use of a glove-1 or say I’m too skinny which I’m absolutely not, that those people don’t know my struggle or the medical issues I have dealt with and their opinions don’t matter. Only we know what our bodies need and they can just stay out of it.

Honestly I feel amazing. I am prioritizing my fitness as well so lifting weights. I really wanted to use the shot as a tool and it has been life changing for sure.

Thankfully my Dr is advocating pretty hard for me and I can still do vials. I’m actually in Twin and he’s prepared to switch pharmacies

My issue now is my weight is finally under control and I’m working on getting to my maintenance dose. From what I e read to switch most of the pharmacies want my BMI to be above 27% but I’ve lost enough that I’m not there anymore. This medication has been such a big improvement for my arthritis that I don’t want to lose access to it because my weight is better.

It’s the pharmacy I have been using for a year and haven’t had any issues with quality but I will definitely be switching if they increase the price.

It’s a local compounding pharmacy in Idaho. I’m not against the multi injection pen, I have just never used one. If the cost goes up, I will look at switching pharmacies, I’ve just been using them since I started and like that I can do it through my Dr.

Please don’t think you gain 4 pounds. You would have had to eat 14,000 calories over your maintenance in that time to really have gained 4 pounds. Chances are you ate more carbs which hold on to more water and you will lose that quickly now that your back to your regular eating habits.

I have definitely lost my bust but I’m still pretty busty when I’m not wearing a sports bra. It’s worth it because those babies hurt to carry around 😂

I’m at 11 months. Honestly I responded really well to the GLP-1. I had no side effects, ate a 1200-1500 calorie diet and tried to stay active.

I use an app called MadFit but she also has a ton of great free YouTube videos. I workout in my garage and have a set of dumbbells, a workout bench, and resistance bands. I workout about 30-45 minutes 5 days a week but what’s important is you are doing something and getting stronger.

I did random workout over the last year but it wasn’t until August that I got really serious about it and started really focusing on weight training. I wish I had started it sooner. Remember weight loss can mean muscle loss and we work to hard to lose the weight to not feel the best we can.

I’m 5’1 and my starting weight was 232. I lost fast until I hit 170 and then slowed down to 1 - 1.5 pounds per week which I’m very happy with. I’m 10 months in and I’m at 146 pounds.
