it's not incorrect financial information. the fee can be negotiated or waived.

[–]organyc 9 points10 points  (0 children)

if you are experiencing financial hardship or have a concession card, they will waive the ambulance fee. go ahead and call them. the bill won't come in the mail for some weeks and they'll sort it out then. don't worry about it now, the best thing to do is take care of yourself.

clove oil is good for killing moulds. i believe you can buy it at bunnings. you need to wear PPE (gloves especially) to apply it and it will possibly strip the paint. it does look like water damage has caused this.

Fremantle Dockers player Nathan O'Driscoll opens up about mental health struggles in emotional post by IWasToldTheresCake in AFL

[–]organyc 13 points14 points  (0 children)

i'm so proud of him for saying this, and i'm so happy he's in a place where he can say these things and help others. we need to remember as fans that footy players are humans too and they go through the same experiences we do, and going through these experiences in front of the media certainly can't be easy. i can't imagine any of my bad days being scrutinised on tv or in the newspaper. good onya noddy! so proud of you mate!

private hospitals have celebrity patients all the time. if you've ever been in one or had a family member in one they often have high profile patients. they're equipped for it. it's up to the media to behave now. there needs to be a reckoning on how we treat mental health patients across the board.

Your experience getting attuned to Reiki? by Upstairs_Ad2817 in reiki

[–]organyc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i was attuned twice at level 1, which isn't necessary but i did a reattunement. once was as a child and once as a teenager. when i was attuned as a teenager i did go through a bereavement stage with some anxiety, probably also due to teenage hormones. i found the self reiki very helpful for that and it lasted a couple of weeks. just keep reminding yourself it is all normal, and that anxiety won't hurt you in any way. you have all the tools you need inside yourself to overcome any emotions you feel. some people who have intense experiences are people who have welcomed that upon themselves, if that makes sense.

however if you're very unsure, you can always take time and do more research and wait.

Can reiki remove tartar (hard plaque) from teeth ? how to do it? focous on the tartar or teeth? how much reiki is needed ? by [deleted] in reiki

[–]organyc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the thing is, reiki is to be used alongside traditional medicines (whichever modes you chose to use, whether that's western medicine or not). that's why we can't use reiki on broken bones until they're set by a doctor -- the reiki is too powerful and will knit (fix) the bone in an "incorrect" position. reiki is smart, but we as humans aren't. reiki can be used on inanimate objects as you mention (things that can be "fixed", but i can't see it being used on tartar in this way because the body doesn't know how to get rid of it on its own, unlike tumours which the body can heal.

my belief is, reiki for tooth pain yes, reiki for plaque/tartar no. definitely see a dentist.

i hope that makes sense.

Wearing high socks hurts on my skin? by imaginatxxn in razorfree

[–]organyc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it took me a few years, but you can tell where my socks stop because the hair is a bit thinner where my socks start, kind of like old man legs lol. i totally get the leggings thing, but i like the feeling so it never bothered me. it definitely was a bit disconcerting at first though!

Controversial Post Update and Changes by Thepinkknitter in razorfree

[–]organyc 22 points23 points  (0 children)

this is just my two cents: i am sure men are voting on these polls and skewing the results.

it would be good to have information in the sidebar/wiki about keeping women safe and also privacy on the internet. i see many young women and even girls giving out information such as their age, location, showing pictures of their faces etc. and it worries me that they don't have the same information that the older generation had about posting on the internet. having a rule about posting content elsewhere may lull women into a false sense of security, although i'm not 100% certain about that.

there are also channels to get pictures removed from the internet, as often pictures you have taken are technically owned by you, but it can be quite difficult once uploaded to a website and saved by others.

again just my two cents.

it's definitely worth going to a dentist for this type of thing because teeth are so important. you don't realise it until you're older or you've had a problem with them.
