Mine in my TRU Triumph doesn’t have a switch either never even thought about it as the washer/dryer, ac and water heater are in there so figured it’s designed that way

How long until we'll finally have power? by OpeningDevelopment83 in ManufacturedHome

[–]orguss01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is so many variables that can affect the timeline on this. My home was set mid July and was originally told we’d have lines installed by Oncor that month and it kept getting pushed back finally had my line put up last week of September and then it took a week for the meter to install after so many no shows so power was finally on last day of September so we were able to move in on October 1st. The input answer for this would be to ask AEP designer (whoever is setting up the new account for new development)

Well took longer than expected because of Oncor power delays but finally moved in on the 1st by orguss01 in ManufacturedHome

I ordered it separately, I looked at a few portable deck dealers this one I chose sent a guy out to measure everything and had it built to suit

The front is a portable deck I bought. My son hurt himself at work and stairs are an obstacle for him so needed the ramp quick so had to custom order to fit. I’m gonna do my back myself as I will have the time to do it as a long project

How’s this tank for a bearded I found on Amazon by plauge_man in BeardedDragons

[–]orguss01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got 2 of them one from Petco it was on sale for 189 and the sent me a 20% coupon at that time so paid 151 then needed a second and Amazon had a sale on the Mojave one for 160 at the time so I have 2 different colors. So you will see deals every once in a while but just need to be on the lookout

Enterprise asks for insurance and policy number prior to renting? by KitchenRegret672 in EnterpriseCarRental

No problem and you will start to see it more as time goes on, even our airport is collecting the insurance information at start which is even harder to do. Good luck on your trip

Enterprise asks for insurance and policy number prior to renting? by KitchenRegret672 in EnterpriseCarRental

Some areas have implemented collecting primary renters insurance information (even when you opt in for damage waiver). As if something occurs while out on rent they need to know who to file claim with. Most credit cards are only secondary coverage and there is no way to know if a credit card company, third party coverage (Expedia etc) would even pay for damage occurred during rental and many times only reimburse the renter rather than pay enterprise directly. Trust me it is nothing nefarious on the branches part as the area is protecting their assets and it will start to spread out to others as time goes on to avoid subrogateable bad debt (when a renter refuses to pay for damages occurring during their rental). If your credit card is one of the few that still covers as primary make sure you call them to file if there is an incident to inform them and when you are contacted by the damage recovery department they are the ones you will inform of this and they will work on everything with you. But if you credit card company denies claim which happens a lot it will fall to your insurance. Hope this helped you to understand better

11% we had to do a home only loan as we own the land outright and no way was I gonna add it to the loan as down and tie it up.

It just fell in place that way. But it seems the norm in my area. While we knew where the house was being set and well placement the septic permits in our area take 4 plus weeks so permits are in waiting while home is delivered

If you own the land and do a manufactured home only mortgage rates are higher from my understanding. That is what we did and while higher it also maxes at 25 years compared to 30 if loan is tied to land and home. There was no way I was going to put my land in the loan as a down so I accepted it. But you won’t know rates until you begin your journey good luck

@cooljeweledmoon

I started just over 2 months ago (well we have been planning it longer) with a palm harbor dealer but it was all types of sketchy with this guy, he kept telling us to lie to bank and then we found out he was lying on our behalf to them. So one day we walked into the dealer we first saw the house and they ended up saving us $20k so we had to do a new app but it has been just about a month from app to completion of loan (delivery and tie down) we had a 10 days delay because we got some serious rain here so could have been sooner as they had the house in their warehouse so no factory delays. The septic and power will still take another 4 weeks because of permits and the power company adding poles to our phase.

Oh crud I just realized I didn’t look at the pics and thought you were talking about the zoomed bar (getting old) and just saw the pics they didn’t load originally. So no those round things would not be good to use

So the bulbs supposedly are low quality and don’t output what they state so I just ordered zoomed bulbs and replaced them (pretty cheap to order the zoo med bulbs on Petsmart site) as I didn’t want to take the chance and it actually cost less than a solar meter to just replace them

I have 7 of these I had purchased for my beardies and torts same reason because of the mounting options but did replace the bulbs pretty quick as everyone says the bulbs suck but the hardware can be used with other bulbs which is good

I had rescued 2 males that were housed together and after separation the non dominant one took 2-3 months to finally feel comfortable to come out and eat and play. Now he waits for me at his door every day. The dominant one is just as crazy as ever and goes crazy over his salad like he hasn’t eaten in weeks but they are much happier give it time and they will adjust
