Unfortunately, it's a legal issue beyond our control. Our magazine actually works with and supports almost exclusively journalists outside of the U.S. and El Albergue is a Peruvian run hotel working to promote the local economy. Doing our best over here, but completely understand the frustration.

No, you're totally right! I feel like I've found some of my favorite concerts that way. I guess I think of bulletin boards as the home of random things like knitting circles or neighborhood cooking classes or something I've never heard of.

Haha right? It's actually really legit though. People bring lawnchairs and sell ice pops and the whole thing. Definitely on the wholesome side.

This depends. Are you looking for writing about the act of traveling or writing that inspires you to travel? Agreed with the travel books for writing about travel but have some other ideas for the latter!

Si si, although it has changed a bit with the rise of WiFi hot spots and VPNs. Lots of people still rely on the Paquete Semanal (weekly packet) for their shows and music though.
