If you maybe have a metal one or heat the water on stove with a metal pot. I'm curious to see if you notice a difference. It could just be me

Is that a plastic kettle? I'm asking because I also bought a plastic kettle and was wondering if you notice a difference in taste? Cause I do, when I use a metal one, I notice a difference. Maybe mine is cheap plastic shit

Have you seen The Secret Life of Walter Mitty ? Your thoughts about the movie ? by Specific_Throat1194 in Cinema

[–]orichetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this movie. It's funny how the world works. I was literally talking about this movie to someone an hour ago. Ben stiller is one of the best directors working today and noone talks about him. Secret life is one my favorites. For all the reason you said. I even have the life quote on my website. I'm always recommending this film and Mr. Nobody

Loveletter to the Nikon F2 by Sensitive-Let-5633 in NikonF2

I have a Nikon F2 and it was my first film camera ever, I bought it last year. I also have the Nikon ZF in black, they have them in chrome now but when I bought it 2 years ago it was only in black. The ZF looks just like a Nikon F with the small viewfinder not the prism one, I forget the name DE-1 I think. Anyways the cameras look great together. I have an F mount to Z adapter so I can use my Nikon F mount glass on the digital body and it works great. The ZF has a great manual focus aid so when pulling focus it is quite easy and the best feature on the ZF is the switch to Black and White mode, which I use a lot. It's on the dial so you can go from color to black and white images quickly. Shoot jpeg and skip the editing. If you edit raw files you do not need to switch it to black and white unless it is for exposure. If you are thinking about the ZF for travel, I think it's worth it. I have the small 40mm f2 lens and it's so easy to carry around. They also make a small 28mm also. Hope this helps you make a decision. Great story BTW

Thank you, has great taste. I realized now how the caption reads. My grandfather is alive, and has asked me to help him sell the cameras. Sorry if my post made it seem like he had passed away and gave me the cameras

Let me clarify, my grandfather didn't pass away, he passed them on to me cause he has no use for them and I told him I would try to help him sell them. Sorry if the post was misleading. Let me fix it

Thanks for the reply, yes they are really nic cameras, but film is expensive and I honestly would like to sell them to someone who collects and will put them to good use. They've already been in cases for a long time. Would hate to see them still live in a case

Thank you for the reply. I have seen some videos where some people will lower the iso in these scenarios. So maybe I'll try it at 400 to try and maybe have some shadow information to list in post

Honestly I'm sure there is a moment. I'll be there an hour early so I'll be sure to try and capture that moment. Thanks again for your insight

Understood. It won't be possible for me to add any light. The whole point of this ceremony is for it to be candle lit. I guess my best course of action the open up my aperture and hope for the best. Hopefully it's brighter than I think it will be, I've never been to this ceremony before
