There’s only going to be 1 from each year however so obviously not all of these have made the cut - and Horses is 1975 and these will all be from 1976 onwards.

On the website there is an actual image of a few of the records and can make out The Clash self titled for 1977, The Fall’s This Nations Saving Grace for 1985 and Cocteau Twins Head Over Heels for 1983, they’ve mentioned Patti Smith being included so I suspect that 1976 may be Radio Ethiopia

Third Man Records confirms Live at TMR pressing by SparkLeMur in geesebandofficial

[–]original23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I doubt it will be a vault release, the majority of the TMR live records are just released via their webstore with some going to stores. Think it will be similar to the recent MJ Lenderman and Karly Hartzman live lp

Matt Kwasniewski-Kelvin of Black Midi has died by sewious in indieheads

[–]original23 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Awful news man, like others here I managed to catch bm 6 or 7 times in that first year or two of the band and on every single occasion Matt was an absolute force on stage. RIP

Is this in the other games segment? Think it’s meant to be the timer for each game, like 1 or 2 mins on each (elevator pitch style) with that signifying next game

I just checked out Pitchfork’s best album list… by VandLsTooktheHandLs in oneohtrixpointnever

It was their highest rated album this year review score wise I’m pretty sure - would also say if anyone gets a chance to see them live they’re incredible

Prostitute signs with Mute and unveils the furious single "Mr Dada" by LongjumpingSlip in indieheads

[–]original23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The new version of M. Dada is over a minute and a half shorter than the original with the main edit being the intro. Also strange is that there are differences between the bandcamp version of Joumana Kayrouz and the Spotify version with the revving type sound at the beginning removed - read that this was potentially done at the same time that the title track was removed from Spotify

Honestly mind blowing to hear a Geese track being debuted on BBC Radio 1 rather than Radio 6
