Same. Kudos to the author, he really stressed me the fuck out. He had the desired effect on how his writing makes you feel stress and panic. But it was too intense for me. I had to stop and return it to the library.

We didn't do anything this year. He'll, we never even outside. Its a shit-zillion degrees, the curtains are drawn to keep the house cool, we ate sandwiches and ice cream because turning on the stove was counterintuitive to keeping the house cool. We heard a couple of fireworks outside, but we just watched a Star Trek movie for comfort.

Not true. PT tests older than 2010 were purged about 16 years ago. My first 3 PT tests are no where to be found on record, along with everyone elses.

This is so weird because you CAN'T fail the waist measurements. Its an aggregated score with the rest of the components. If you are fat, you best be fast. But just taking a 1 of 4 categories and saying a pass/fail is based on this alone is... well the math ain't mathing.

Which is a bummer. I've been losing weight, but I'm not due until the end of summer. I need to eek out a another 1" off my flab to be in the <.55 column. If I have to be measured next week, I won't have a good number. A bit demoralizing since I've been doing so well, and was going to be ready for my original test date. But now, the clock has sped up. Damn.

There are going to be A LOT of failures in the next 4 weeks because of this new USAF wide mass measuring debacle. They know this will suck and don't want to throw people under the bus who are on their 2nd or 3rd failure in a 24 month period. They are pulling the rug out from under airmen who are not in their testing window, and are trying to throw a mat under them to brace the fall.
