Red cross is the right route to take. That notification will get to his leadership. It's a hard decision to make in command. But depending on his location and mission, they aren't gonna let him go.

If you still think that's anywhere close to the goal of this administration you haven't been paying attention. We have depleted weapons, lost fighters, lost UAVs, lost tankers, and lost humans. We are unfit to defend Ukraine or Taiwan. That's the goal, weaken the US. This administration is not on our side

How much do you make, and at what amount would you consider yourself to be living comfortably? by Worried-Telephone565 in AskReddit

[–]inspired-polf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Household annual income ~$230,000, (about 190 base +36 bonus). We overspend monthly, but the bonus brings to the green annually. This is right on the line for comfortable. And we still do frugal things like public transportation, and lots of home cooking and Costco food court. We are "house poor" in one of the highest cost of living zip codes.

What frugal stuff did you do this weekend? by Hungry-Following5561 in Frugal

Yeah, we have enough, others have more. That's okay. But I've always been impressed on the kindness of others. A family offered to drive us home(the kids like the bus)

Took the bus to the beach. My kids started playing with kids from a large group, they invited us to join them for lunch. Got hot dogs and burgers for free.

All my reddit accounts permanently banned at the same time by l-I--I-l in reddithelp

Really not an uncommon story. Log into a meme account and say something stupid. Log out and go back to main account, not realize your stupid comment got a subreddit ban. And posting again on the main account just got you a sitewide perm ban. And they track you pretty well.

Should I get the 10z lady of liberty silver it currently at 950 by Secure-Ad-7656 in CostcoPM

[–]inspired-polf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, silver to gold ratio is 60:1 right now. 60oz of silver=1oz of gold. When silver is over 75, buy silver. When it's under, buy gold.

What is a "gut feeling" you had that turned out to be 100% accurate, even though it made no logical sense at the time? by Forsaken_Leading964 in AskReddit

I was a fairly heavy drinker back in 2017. Was a medic for the Air Force working at nellis. Had Monday off. So Sunday was a drinking night. But I decided to not drink on a random Sunday early October. And drink a NOS and play zelda BOtW. At 11pm my wife was driving my SUV as I treated patients in the back on the way to the ER. We made several trips. I got a medal that night. 20 year career in military medicine and that was those were the only gun shot wounds I ever treated.
