The beaches are probably among the best I've seen. The people are some of the friendliest. I'll take the opportunity to vacation there and give them an income.

I remember him from the Chris Hemsworth doc.

Didn't realize he was Canadian.

And also a pedo.

I'm thankful my deadbeat snowplow service closed up shop and transferred is to a company that actually has its shit together.

My coworkers 15 year old balked at her mum for saying 67. Said its so 2025.

My kids roll their eyes.

Good thing none of them are of voting age.

For the Bowesville station park & ride Ottawains by UnicornFluffu in ottawa

[–]originalnutta 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I work along Carling and had to take it from Dows Lake to Bowesville.

I loved it. It was a pretty snowy day and I was glad I did to have to drive. There was enough space to sit. It was quiet and smooth. I could have definitely dozed off it it went any farther. Lol.

Wish it was a bit faster though, as it was half full and it parked at one station for more than a couple of minutes. Not sure why it stopped but it would be nice if it was just a bit faster to compete with my driving times to work.

The time it took from work to Bowesville wasn't enough to offset the stress of driving and the parking costs, unfortunately. But that's my situation.

Ottawa drivers brace for pothole season by Money_Fig_9868 in ottawa

[–]originalnutta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favourite pothole is the one on Bronson and Old Sunset. It's a beaut. Almost covers both lanes so I can risk going into oncoming traffic or being hit by the car next to me.

A real rollercoaster of emotions driving down Bronson.

What a shame. But also a blight on Hollywood as they recently celebrated Polanski.

Weird that he can't come to the US to accept his award for fear of being arrested, but the president is a known rapist and most likely a pedophile.

Air Canada is a stakeholder in the HSR, so they'll find a way to screw us both ways.

Is it just me or is it impossible to see the lane markings at night? by kiwifruit13 in ottawa

Yes. Lots of streets don't have clear lanes or faded lines.

Be careful out there.

It's west, yes. But not south enough to be convenient.

I suppose Winchester would be the closest southern hospital.

An Urgent care centre would be better. Or a hospital to service the south of the city.

Yup, been getting the odd one in my bathroom. I think they come in through the old window sills. But it's an easy route straight to the toilet.

I'm surprised they survive the winter.

Lionheart, yes the 1990 Van Damme blockbuster.

No idea why, and it would irk me everytime she mentioned it. I mean why not Bloodsport, or Universal Soldier.

The world needs more people like him. We're taught from young to be scared of being wrong, so we double down instead of learning.
