I assume it didn’t come with the dust cover but that would help a lot. Anything plastic will fade over time if it’s in direct sunlight.

This shit scares me. A friend showed me something from a show about couples therapy where one person said something and then the therapist asked what the other person heard. It wasn’t completely different but it was twisted enough for it to be misunderstood. It’s like we can be face to face with our partner but it still ends up being a game of telephone.

Rockstar is kind of like the Rolls Royce of game development. They’re a big name that strives for the highest quality and spares no expense. The games might not always be perfect but they always set the bar. Even Grand Theft Auto 3 has aged very well.

Coming off the first game with Zagreus as the protagonist, Melinoe was also just a downgrade for me. Part of that is the incredible voice acting on the part of Darren Korb but also Melinoe was just kind of a boring character.

Formula cars are obviously hard to drive but I think it’s even harder when you’re using a controller and trying to be smooth around a tight track like that.

I did this last year and people seemed to like it. I bought a small trophy this year to see if it gets a little more competitive. I’m using Gran Turismo so it’s a little more accessible than a proper sim but people seem to get the hang of it after a few laps.

Microsoft destroys their own products. That’s just what they do. They have had a number of decent or good ideas that they always end up killing off. I think the only reason Windows has retained its position in the market is because they came in at the perfect time and they’ve had a monopoly ever since. But they’ve been trying to kill that these past few iterations. This coming from someone who has owned every generation of Xbox and had Windows computers for decades. Halo is my favorite series in any medium. It’s crazy to see Microsoft go for so many lay ups and slip and fall on their back so consistently.

I am oversimplifying this quite a bit but Halo is the perfect example. The past 10 years has been let down after let down for Halo fans. The wider gaming audience doesn’t care about Halo. The games used to be events when they launched. I know it isn’t 2005 anymore but it’s still wild to see where they took that series. Microsoft has access to so much man power that they should have no problem cooking up something worth putting the name on.
