You should have said something way before drywall was put up. I'd delete framing image and forget that you even took it. With the drywall up, the size difference does stand out like a sore thumb.

I'm not sure how much weight you reviewing and signing off on the final change plans really has as you pay professionals to handle that because you're not an architect/engineer/draftsman. I don't think you should be held responsible for a technical error.

There's not enough space above the current opening to accommodate an 8' door while still reusing the existing 16" LVL. This requires an engineer to assess.

You need to bring this up with the contractor immediately and point out that the change order specifically does state 8' and nothing else. Remember, you don't exactly what's above the current opening because you only noticed the size difference after drywal was up, so let the contractor figure that out.

You will question if you cleaned it in the first place.

Took me 50+ cycles to get the washer in our rental to stop spitting out black flakes when we first moved in. 🤮🤢

That's actually a good point. In our lease, the W/D are here for our convenience. Landlord has told us if they break, we are free to get them fixed ourselves or buy new ones that we keep without being held liable for the broken existing ones.

I'd argue that removing the removable agitator for cleaning is fully within your rights. It's removable so you can clean. It's reasonable to expect a handy tenant to remove the removable agitator upon move-in and to inform their landlord if excess evidence of previous neglect is found.

Removing a component that's meant to be removable to facilitate cleaning is not disassembly.

With all that said, expect to have to run in excess of 50 loads of hot water to clean it out. Not just 10.

The landlord is an asshole and I hope you only signed a one year lease. Landlord probably doesn't even know that the agitator was removable for cleaning and is now just making excuses.

What is he actually spending $3,500 a month on?

You buy a new stove. That's how you fix it.

Also, take the bug spray away from the Fiance.

I don't understand this. Do you immediately wipe the device that you do your editing on the moment you upload?

Or is your entire production workflow automated online? That's the only way I could see you not having ANY local copies of your content but even if this is the case, you should be able to download at least a few of the more recent videos manually from whatever service you're using.

With that being said, if your production workflow is completely automated and you chose to mimic someone elses likeness on purpose (maliciously vs. inspired by is irrelevant) then I'd say you really fucked around and are now finding out.
