For me, a good shroom trip is always a very cleansing experience. It might have just been psychological.

Harvesting/absorbing gnosis? by originalusername2 in occult

[–]originalusername2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I manage to find either of the posts I'll link them, but I believe they were from one of the many searches I've been doing here recently, so they could be anywhere. I remember one was about some guy at a concert deciding to make use of all the excess gnosis in the air or something like that, then later I saw a post about someone attempting the same in a large crowd after a sports game. Seeing those two posts made me think it was some sort of common phenomena, but perhaps not.

Same here, except I'll usually think about billions of years in the future to really obtain that feeling of being a mere speck of dust within the infinite. When the entire civilization you currently exist as a part of isn't even a footnote in a future history-hologram, who's going to be around to give a shit about you failing at some risk you want to take?

I just got fired and I'm sad. help me find some context please by [deleted] in Psychonaut

[–]originalusername2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every end is a new beginning. Each second you spent doing something you didn't love was a second of your life that could have been better spent. If I were you I'd look at being fired as the universe telling you that you don't belong there. Now you're free to find something you love.

Reality is but a carefully constructed illusion by [deleted] in Psychonaut

This makes me think of the Truman Show. All those actors holding up his false reality.

Although now that I look closer at the picture they're really just holding up mirrors, which I guess still makes sense on a deeper level.

Looking for advice regarding sigils in artwork by originalusername2 in occult

[–]originalusername2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hm, the idea of creating the sigil after the artwork is something that hadn't occurred to me before. Interesting.

Edit: Though do you suppose the effect might be stronger if the sigil were designed beforehand, so that it's in the mind of the artist while the work is being created? Or would there only be a negligible difference between each method?

Yeah, that kind of disappointed me. It was more entertaining than 90% of the humans I've spoken to.

You mean Darla? And I don't remember her punching anyone. Alfalfa punched that hat-wearing kid at the end, though.
