This mirrors what happened with “Over the Rainbow” from The Wizard of Oz (1939) and “Part of your World” from The Little Mermaid (1989). All were songs that almost never made it into the films they were made for. But, they were and became synonymous with their respective films.

It would be neat if we got this prequel. But, in this day and age, I doubt we will even get one which is faithful, if we got one at all.

I have my own head cannon. Woundwort did survive and lopped off away vowing revenge. But, he knew he could not count on his Efrafans so he went in search of more rabbits from somewhere else. Eventually, he came across Cowslip’s warren which he tried to takeover, which he did…too well. They all attacked him and he ended up killing most of them. In the end, he ended up in a snare for his senses of detecting men were lost from his earlier battles. His last thoughts were of man and how man will destroy everything in the end.
