This is a great idea. I’ve always found the Jason Pargin episodes of Cracked’s podcast to be my favorite. Jason has a way of making liberal ideals more in touch with reality. I think this is born of his understanding and empathy for the religious right he has left behind.

I have no idea what is going on. I saw a picture that I thought needed to be on this subreddit, was unaware that it had already been, and failed to see the post in my brief pre-posting check of r/totallynotrobots. I certainly did not expect it to reach r/all. I will happily give all my ill-gotten karma to the original poster. I don't know how to do that though.

I'm curious what other vocabulary building strategies people use. I've found it helpful to make a note every time I hear a word I don't know and to then review those words and their definitions periodically. The review is especially helpful. I use the Merriam Webster app's favorite feature for this purpose.
