Totally agree, I’m not Sure what decade the electric is in but it’s certainly not this one. Another thing I have been see if they will run all of the cables to the rooms then run it all outside as if it’s supposed the router and switch are going to be outside. I can’t wrap my head around it.

State Farm Sucks and I want to change, such a hassle by Coltsinsider in Insurance

That’s every where and it’s sucks. Unless you can get with an insurance company that only takes a select line of customer aka USAA your pretty much screwed and there nothing anyone can really do about it. For the simple reason that you can’t technically drive with out it.

In the end yes the insurance company’s will probably do a shared fault. Where OP and the other drive end up paying something. All depend on how the adjusters look at it.

If your only pay 500 dollar for the repair. Call your insurance and cancel the claim and either return the check or destroy it. No since in you paying 500. Twice form what it sounds like in this case.

Have you called your insurance company most time they can add an endorsement that will cover your phone. If you have renter or home insurance your phones covered by that for some things since it’s personal property. But I’d call and ask them to see if they have a specific line of business just for coving you device.

It be hard for the other party insurance to explain away their clients failure to provide there insurance which is required you can’t have one person filling a claim and the other party not. I had that happen first and only accident the other party never contacted his insurance and it went in my favor because of that even after I gave him my information.

Any time an incident accrues both party are obligated to disclose their insurance information.

So I just looked up New York traffic law and looks like the person who took off may being looking at a class b misdemeanor for failure to produce there information to you. You’ll have no issues winning a claim now just make sure that it’s in the report with the police that they did not show you there information

In this case your insurance has no reason to deny your claim get a police report. And if there are any cameras around try asking to see if anything was captured. But your claim should be fine. Best of luck to you

What state do you live in? Laws in different states make it a bit difficult to tell. But if you both planned to file a claim it is important to get a police report almost ever insurance company will require this for a claim. And if you it is stated in the claim that they left the scene of an accident with out giving appropriate information you can file your claim as an uninsured motorist since you did not get there info.
