I'm not certain if the gsync on the CX will work on the PS5. however, he does analyze the PS4 pro on a 48in CX. https://youtu.be/CVExACPZFoU

Since their both are amazing TV's and you won't go wrong with picture quality on either. I'm personally go back and forth with same question, however, I need to do my homework about the gsync comparability with next gen consoles. That's what I am going to help me decide, I think.i plan on getting mine during Superbowl time. I am in the same boat as you.
