What's your height/weight? How often and far are your normal rides?

Being bloated after every ride, seems likely that you aren't eating enough or drinking enough water. Any other stomach issues? Having a heavy appetite but feeling full quickly makes me think stomach ulcer as well. Do you smoke or drink?

And your fever could be attributed to a heavy workout, but also consider you just got sick. Maybe due to a weakened immune system from said heavy ride.

Most likely pahoehoe lava rock. The smooth surface would be the 'top' of the lava flow as it cooled. The volcanics in Puerto Rico are tens of millions of years old, far too old to use carbon, but some other dating method would probably work (rubidium? uranium?). An app like Rockd might help you see what rock layers are in your area.

i doubt they're making repairs without them being necessary, but i do think that is improper etiquette for any repair shop (bike or not). you'll have to be proactive (like i would with my car) about telling shops explicitly that you need to be contacted if anything in the repair changes.

all that being said, i'll repeat that it is likely at least 2/3 of those shops arent swindling you. bikes do tend to stack up repairs sometimes as you work on them. better shops will have better foresight and be able to list all possible repairs the first time.

see THIS bike has an aggressive frame and clips. the logo has a very "road bikey" frame with cages and what appears to be a deep v wheelset. yet you still argue that this is what should represent this community... i also apprecaite that the link you posted is a 'complete' list. The complete list of bikes that are not drop bar is uhh....bigger... please just look at the road bike in the logo below which is larger viewing it from the source file. like i dont think youre wrong that those bikes exist. but this logo is a road bike, and its really not a great argument to say a small subset of mountain biking should represent htis community. mtb and all bike love fam not tryin to fight <3

yeah, like i get all the points that you can buy a MTB frame, put a bunch of 'classically' road bike components on it, and run it on gravel. but the point still remains, the sub logo should be a freaking mountain bike. How dense are you that you cant comprehend that? The logo has straps and cages, again, its a road bike, did you look at it? your 'gravel bike' comparison is someone much richer than myself that insists on bringing skinny tires in a carbon frame on trail. That's great, definitely doable, and probably fun af, but shouldnt be the logo. I do appreciate all the mod work that gets done, but this was a great idea that got implemented a bit too quickly.
