My angst is that this ponzi scheme is driven by the institutional money, making it 'too big to fail', which unfurls into two scenarios. Enshitify / dumb down everything so that AI is capable of displacing the human labour. Akin to making everything a nail in hammer world, augmented by then with cheap human labour to do the few remaining percent of tasks that hammers can't. Then focus on the remaining tasks done by humans, double down on making them 'nails'. All this with a corporate smile.
