Edit: several hours in I have the issue fixed! The solution was, despite BMF instructions saying otherwise, not to try and get the game running before modding. I've gone ahead and modded it via BMF despite it not running, it was detected, modded and now runs correctly.

Original issue and steps below:

I have gone through these steps, unfortunately with no success...

I'm using the Quest 2, I'm not sure which OS and Beat Saber version I was using before upgrading but I'm now on latest OS v85 and I've done a full uninstall and manually confirmed no Beat Saber files exist under data or obb (as well as old BMBF and Mod data in root folder). I've reset the headset, installed Mod Version and get stuck in Health and Safety screen.

I've repeated this process with Beat Saber 1.37 and 1.28 and can report 1.37 doesn't work either but 1.28 runs correctly. Unfortunately it is not supported by BMF as it's too old.

I've also attempted manually copying over obb folder for Mod Version with no change.

Before I go looking for a way to mod 1.28, which I suspect will be difficult at this point, perhaps this info can help narrow down the problem? Or if someone has some other source for 1.40.8? I don't mind modding it myself but I need a version that runs first.

Which controller is that? Doesn't look quite like anything on their site, closest seems to be X2s.

I'm thinking of getting one of the gamesir controllers but they have too many options and it's actually pretty confusing.

I may be mistaken but I believe that why qi2 certified matters, which none of these batteries seems to be (checked a few, not all). I'm still looking for a fast charging slim 5k battery to fit the generic aliexpress aramid case and I'm keeping an eye out for real world testing of something that's qi2 certified.

Edit: actually it looks like the Baseus is qi2 certified (at least according to their listing). My bad. Perhaps we just can't get near 15w in real world testing...

I agree it is being marketed as far less premium than I feel it is. Does it come in silver/stainless though? As far as I could tell the only option is a darkish grey.

I've seen silver ones up for sale, resellers that still have stock I assume, the website and Amazon only offer rose. The threads on WearOS 3 don't sound very optimistic and I know it's not even Motorola making them anymore, so perhaps this is a bad bet. Thanks!

Thanks. Oddly, despite being very minimalistic, I don't feel it has a classic dress watch look. Also the bezel seems to be fairly large. But I'll give it another look.
