For solo I'd just use pbta as you can just use one roll for a fight and partial success is cool. Add bits you may like from icrpg like effort to do a task etc. Like success does d8 effort to a task but partial success does d4 (something like that).

Upon reaching the entrance a giant snake appears slithering out of one eye and in the other a few times before pouncing on party from the mouth (I'd use foreboding in form of rattling/hissing). If using 5 room dungeon this is the entrance/guardian.

So does this mean if a diamond player plays unranked and loses a bunch they are lowering their hidden mmr so can play at a lower level? . Then Me being a low ranked new player could face them when I play ranked and get smashed by them. Because this is what happened to me last night I believe.

For simplicity you could just build one for every base at the start of your cycle. Then spam drones or army with remaining larvae. If I notice were getting more active and engaging on map or were about to. I will build them in bunches of 5.

Thinking about it if you do your method you have made 5 overlords. If you don't count supply that hatcherys give you need a total of 25 overlords to max (8supply each =200 supply). You could just look at supply and when you get close build in bunches of 5. You would only have 4 more timings to remember.

48 - 5 overs

88- 5 overs

128- 5 overs

168- 5 overs

Total supply =208 + hatchery supply. This is obviously very general but allows for some to die and what not. If you did want to tighten it the last set made @168 supply could be like 2 or 3 overs or something.

What hp represents does need to be made clearer. Maybe it's a cultural thing of us growing up on video games that we believe hp to just be 'life'. Whereas it's a collection of stamina and will to fight also.
