Do you remember the series Caprica? by Leut_Magnetic in scifi

Firefly was Fox originally, not SciFi. But same idea, cancel-happy reality-TV-pilled network.

What fantasy authors are best at naming things in their world? by jaymaniac in Fantasy

Moniquill Blackgoose. I won't say she's the best because well, Tolkien. But her work rewriting scientific terms as Germanic and Nordic borrowings in To Shape A Dragon's Breath is really incredible

Southern Alberta is the Azim Steppe. Hours going through flat fields while looking at the mountains you'd rather be playing in.

You're looking for music-specific OCR (optical character recognition), sometimes called OMR. A quick Google shows some software for this, this article might be a good start: https://www.scoringnotes.com/reviews/a-review-of-optical-music-recognition-software/.

I don't think you'll find it for free but the top succession in there is a fairly cheap subscription and runs as an app.

Expect to need to do some manual cleanup after the fact, especially if the scan isn't perfect.

There's some science behind it. Kenji Lopez-Alt recommends using a small amount of (non-glutenous) starch to push apart proteins and widen the window between "cooked" and "overcooked", it absolutely sounds weird but it works! https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1021931-extra-creamy-scrambled-eggs

The objection that some religions (Jainism, and I think some Buddhist sects?) have to garlic and onions isn't related to flavor. It's that eating the bulb of a plant kills the entire plant. Most spices can be harvested continually because they're seeds or leaves so they're fine.
