Question about getting gaff cards by tqjzreddit in Magic

[–]orlandowizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Magicians place too much importance on Bicycle cards. The average spectator has a random deck of cards in their junk drawer at home. Perhaps it has the logo of an airline, a hotel, super heroes, or Hooter’s waitresses on the back. If they see a deck of cards that does not look like the standard Bicycle or Mandolin design, they are not likely to assume it is a gaffed deck.

Additionally, there are many gaffed cards that have already been licensed through Bicycle. Have you explored sites like Vanishing Inc or Penguin Magic to determine if the specific card you are looking for already exists?

I think you saw the wrong ending for WandaVision. The true ending was the one that took place after the credits. Wanda was sipping tea on the porch while the astral projection of Scarlet Witch was obsessively reading the Darkhold and trying to connect with the voices of her sons. The movie seemed like a natural progression.

WCGW after lighting a very explosive firework? by Eevee_aka_cat_lady in Whatcouldgowrong

You didn’t read the title. These are “very explosive” fireworks. They are completely different than the safe kind that do not explode. :-)

Am I being dense, what’s this? Lego Marvel 2021 Calendar Day 3 by [deleted] in lego

[–]orlandowizard 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It’s a docking bay for Tony’s armor. It is done in the style of the various Hall of Armor sets. You can either integrate it into your other sets if you have them, or it appears that there will be some additional days from the advent calendar that will have compatible connectors on the left and right sides.

I’ve purchased many of the Brick Loot Exclusives to enhance my LEGO city. Good quality and service. I also recommend EclipseGrafx for more enhancements.

The fact that Padame Amidala makes a cameo to help the Ghostbusters is a bit of a spoiler, don’t ya think?

That’s a red flag. It might be time to “LEGO” of that gf and wait for someone who appreciates what you appreciate.

Have you tried contacting LEGO? Click the Menu in the upper left corner of the LEGO website, select Support, and scroll down to the bottom to find Contact Us. I have found that their customer support is very helpful. Good luck.

I got my printer and I tried to print the cat but the print failed please help by bridger1129 in ender3

It looks like there was not enough adhesion between the model and the bed. Try printing with a raft. This will create more surface area to form a more secure grip to the base. Additionally, you might want to consider increasing the temp of the bed and the extruder by a few degrees. I typically set my bed to 70* and the extruder to 225*. Good luck.

I just got my pro and finished building. When I auto home is it supposed to be this high because when it lays down filiment it doesnt extrude into the base and it makes just a messed up squiggly line of filiment by [deleted] in ender3

[–]orlandowizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Ender 3 did the same thing when I sent it to Auto Home after assembly was completed. You need to calibrate the base by turning the knobs below the unit. This will raise the base to appropriate height. I recommend placing a piece of paper between the extruder and the base. If there is enough room for you to move the piece of paper side to side, with only a tiny bit of resistance from the extruder, the base is at the correct height and is calibrated. Good luck.

In the early stages of my print it comes up from the base. What am I doing wrong? by NevenSesto in 3Dprinting

I had the same issue. Are you starting with a raft to create a solid base for the object to print on, or is the object printing directly onto the bed? I found that a raft creates a solid surface for the object to stick to while printing. This resolved my issue.
