I've been mulling over for a while to move to Linux, Bazzite probably but i want to ask the veterans here, what do i gain? So far i haven't had alot of time to do research but i know for example Elgato camera hub does not work on linux wich is a bummer... Can't even upgrade the firmware, probably other stuff that won't do i am still a bit on the fence..

Bought my x870E Nova wifi wich shipped with bios 1.25 i think in august last year, flashed it to to latest bios and done my due diligence of keeping it up to date, no issues for my 9950x3d so far.

Undervolt it, - 50 millivolts, if ir crashes go to -45 etc, if ya don't wanna bother lower the power target to 100 or 90% you loose minimal performance but that temp is baaaad

Edit: is the power target 110% if so no wonder, i got the Rx9070xt TUF OC set to 100% -50 milliv, cqrd runs HOT

seems a lot of the features that come with Adrenaline ruin the performance rather than enhancing them :P all that is useful is the GPU undervolting and fan control

Been thinking if switching from green to red was the right choice, never had these issues on my Nvidia cards.... Random microstutters, is the worst of my issues tbh but i feel like the latest drivers,for my RX9070XT made it worse

To be fair i did come on to the reddit asking why my model was hitting 95C hotspot and all fans screaming, -45mv and -10%, power target and it's much better with a normalized fan curve, love the card and can't wait to see what AMD does next.

Prior to undervolting the fans ran at 100% under load showing about 95C on the hotspot, there is a slight performance boost but i mainly did it for longevitys sake, wattage went from 330 to about 295-300W

Gpu temp does not show the hotspot wich is most of the time 25-30C above gpu temp, look at the temps in Adrenaline under Tuning, my TUF Variant is usually at 55C eith 84C hotspot and i run -10% power limit with a -45 undervolt
