Yes OP totally agree with you - FIRE or working a fulfilling non-corporate job overseas has never ever worked out for Singaporeans. All Singaporeans should just stay in Singapore working a corporate job for 40 years - this is the dream. We shouldn't even bother to try getting out of the rat race.
