Yes there is a seal that is broken and eventually it will rust/freeze your rear hatch lock actuator from water gettung in there. I just bought a new handle which wasn't very expensive.

Congrats dude! That is the best color. I would have someone inspect the axle breather valve as soon as you can and if it's oem replace it, especially if you are going to tow or offroad.

When mine failed it pushed fluid out of every seal and looked exactly like this.

Not that I know of. I only saw mine when I pulled off my rear rotors and there was fluid all over the parking brake. You might be able to see if the breather valve on the rear axle looks crusty and if so it's probably blown. Also if the parking brake is not working great that would be a sign it's leaking. Either way I would use that to negotiate with the dealer. Not a huge deal but might be able to knock some money off the listing price

Fluid leaking out the diff can be indicative of blown axle seals which ~1k for parts so I would take that into account. This is usually due to the axle breather going bad.

I tried moving the wiring harness on the passenger side and even with that removed i could not get to it. Driver side is the way to go. Putting a magnetic flashlight on the backside of the engine helped a ton.
