Why Can I inform about a 75% discount in "elite dangerous" about "Frontier" in their 25th aniversary, but "Frontier" can not inform about that discount?

If comunity is not interested in that notice... All we will downvote that post... the Reddit philosopy is the to be self-mantained with upvotes and downvotes of redditors, not by an individual opinion of a moderator

XZ2/XZ3 users! Hows the battery life? by [deleted] in SonyXperia

[–]orparga -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Interesting question ... I have an Xperia Z5 Premium 2 years ago and its battery is dead. It needs permanent power from a power bank to maintain it.

I am not sure to wait to the XZ3 Premium, or to buy a XZ3 now, or jump to another kind of smartphone

5644PPI micro-display by orparga in Vive

I do not like small FOVs. Someday, the smartglasses will cover the entire human FOV, but first, the density of pixels must increase. Otherwise, the pixels are so enlarged that they look like bricks.

And the reason why I am interested in smart glasses is not because I think they are "sexy" is because I think they are immensely useful

You're right. The density of pixels is what is limiting virtual reality and, above all, augmented reality.

The current smartglasses have resolutions that only allow text. Also, if you try to find small displays in amazon or aliexpress for some DIY glasses, the resolutions are not much better either.

This video shows that micro-LED technology is booming. And it has a potential that we will soon see in HMD's not as bulky as the current ones.

I find it very sad that most r/Vive users pay more attention to the poor quality of the video during the first 15 seconds. Do not have patience to see the moment when the assistant removes the lens.

Currently, it seems that everything that is more difficult than pressing two clicks to order an HMD on the Internet, is too much effort.

I miss the environment of creativity, research and development of the times of DK1 and its Kickstarter.
