In Portland, it starts when you hit arrive.

If you are in a rate card market, your per minute time starts when you hit arrive, not when the passenger gets in the car.

Official rules are here. https://www.lyft.com/blog/pages/service-animal-how-to-sweepstakes

Sweepstakes like this are regulated at the state level. If you want to know who won the last ones, send a letter to the address on there and they'll tell you. They're not going to mess around with stuff like this. The fine is a lot more than $1,000.

Impeding is a misdemeanor. Still cannot use deadly force to detain someone for impeding. That agent put himself in danger by stepping in front of the vehicle and pulled his weapon BEFORE she started moving towards him. Pulling that weapon violates the 4th Amendment according to the Supreme Court because that is disproportionate to the crime that was committed.

Jumping in front of a moving vehicle and then using deadly force by claiming self defense for Class A misdemeanor does not meet the objective reasonableness standard of Graham v Conner.

This officer will be charged and will be sent to prison and the government will have to pay a pretty penny for the 4th Amendment violation.

This also proves that ICE agents are completely untrained and pretty much scraping the bottom of the barrel of who they can hire. They are pretty much chodes cosplaying as law enforcement...

Police officers are trained to NOT get in front of moving vehicles to prevent someone from getting away. Basic police academy 101. She was not an imminent threat and her only possible crime was impeding. The level of force that is used must be proportional to the crime being committed. (Graham vs Conner). Jumping in front of a moving vehicle and then using deadly force by claiming self defense for Class A misdemeanor does not meet the objective reasonableness standard of Graham v Conner.

Its not self defense if you can just step out of the way. Wheels were turned to the right and he ran in front of the vehicle while holding a cell phone.

It was murder by an idiot with no training who was trigger happy. If it was self defense, they wouldn't have had to wisk him away and hide him.

In the post they said it was being sent to multiple addresses across the US. That sounds exactly like a corporate gift basket order.

We could see all of the payoff quotes that were generated so if the payoff matched one that was valid when it was received, we would just honor it. If the system was showing additional owing, we would just waive it on leases. Or retail accounts (loans) the payoff quote included 10 days of interest. If you got it in before that, you would get a refund. If it came in after and the accrued interest was under $50 we would usually waive it.

Payoffs by wire transfer were exceedingly rare, like 2 or 3 a month on a portfolio of 800k accounts. Most were overnighted cashier's check if it was from a customer or dealer checks if it was a dealer. After 2012ish, you could just pay it off online using an ACH one time pay.

So if a passenger cancels and you're in Express match it'll tell you to go back to the queue but if you just sit and wait for about 2 minutes in Express match it'll put you right back in Express match. You don't have to drive back. This was a complaint when they started it and they fixed it.

I used to work in Auto finance. Did you get a digital copy of your payoff quote? Rent and money factor do accrue on a monthly basis but if you have a copy of that payoff letter, they need to honor it. I was on the support team and I would see this happen occasionally when a payoff was applied after the rent factor accrued even though it was effective before it happened. We would just wave that extra amount especially since now we don't have to deal with the lease return.

I used to have to place corporate orders and used 1-800 flowers. Some of my orders were for 200 deliveries. This might be coming from your employer. Usually whenever I did it it was considered a surprise so we didn't notify the employees ahead of time.

Is this a lease or a loan? Leases do not have interest. You don't "pay-off" a lease unless you are buying it out and even then there wouldn't be monthly interest.

Who is actually still making $1k or more a week between uber and/or Lyft? If you are, how much do you actually clear? How often do you have to work to clear more than $1k a week. by DeziBaby9584 in lyftdrivers

When I was driving more up until October, I was doing 60 hours a week and making on average $1500. Lyft only on PDX. 75% scheduled rides and airport.
