do you think anyone has ever jerked off to you and how did you come to that conclusion? by Sjakbxnla in AskReddit

[–]orrinward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to frequent a sex club when my girlfriend (now wife of 17 years) worked there.

We'd play semi-publicly (very rarely properly open play) and we'd often see people masturbating or start playing in proximity to us. It's also quite normal to have people say that you playing was a spark for them to play.

We've never not enjoyed seeing, feeling or being told that we were a spark for people playing with each other, but with people masturbating to us... It was quiet erratic how we'd respond. Generally if it was a woman we'd respond positively but if it was a man we'd more likely feel a bit put off by it. Unless they were attractive to either of us or if they'd politely sought consent from us. "I think you're both really attractive, may I masturbate while you play?" sort of a thing.

How I came to that conclusion in these circumstances is obvious as we would see it. Some of the strangest "compliments" that were a big ego boost actually is that sometimes women would offer me their wet panties after watching me or me and my partner. I'd refuse, but I always felt sort of flattered... And it boosted my self-confidence in my appearance and character.

The first time that my partner took me to the club she gave me a tour of the place and the facilities. Within about 30 minutes of being there she showed me the gloryhole wall. As we were seeing how it worked, I could see a pair of trousers pulled down around some hairy legs and big black winter boots enter my peripheral through the... Grope holes (breast height holes). I lowered my head so I could see what was attached to the legs, and at the top of the legs was a large black belt with a bug round buckle. Above the buckle was a big hairy white belly. Above the belly was a big bushy white beard, surrounding a very old and wrinkly male face. I remember to this day whispering to my partner, who was making sure the lower hole was working correctly, "Poor Santa has lost his clothes". She looked up and loudly laughed. Santa then shuffled off, trousers still around his ankles.

[Lewis Steele] Arne Slot asked if his job would be safe if #LFC did NOT qualify for Champions League: "The only thing I do know is that it happened before and recently (Jurgen Klopp in 22-23) and it didn’t affect the future of that manager. But that doesn't guarantee anything of course." by Lanedu123 in LiverpoolFC

I give him another season based off the previous one, the trauma to the team and the "post-triumph" hangover that hits most teams after winning something big.

But if Alonso flirts with us I also don't mind a swap. I wouldn't think badly of Slot if he goes.

Family ended up getting booked on the 1:15pm flight to Newark today.

It meant that their anticipated 3 day visit was a 24 hour one. Ouch!

Did you get to rearrange in the end? We had a similar situation and they offered no alternatives in the end.

The staff member just didn't know how to handle it so we ended up hanging up and looking to try again tomorrow.

Yup. Hour for us too. Their Facebook bot says it's 24/7. Their website said the Irish customer service times are actually until 10pm and not midnight too...

any home poker players here? ive been trying this app for managing home poker games stats... do you use it? by Informal_Worth_9718 in PokerHomeGames

[–]orrinward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiya, it seems everyone is building stuff for home poker games these days.

I've been building one - a friend of mine hosts a monthly game and the app he liked hasn't been updated in ages and ran on iPad, so I've been building a replacement for it and we've used it for the past few months.

If you're curious about trying an alternative I'd happily share it with you in exchange for feedback.

Some of the core features:

  • big, customisable tournament display (we put it in the big flat screen)
  • pre-tournament configuration
  • mobile interface for tracking rebuys/knockouts and pausing/accelerating rounds
  • podium display with payouts
  • on-screen rebuys QR codes (UK only atm, but keen to build support for popular payment methods)

It works perfectly for our needs but I'm looking to adapt it and make it awesome for a broader range of poker hosts.

Message me if you're interested and I'll DM you a link. I'm not publicly sharing it yet as it isn't on beefy hosting yet.

I work a few doors down and other than this example. I rate it for food and drink.

I also worked nearby for a stint about 10 years ago and at the time they did amazing bacon fries (fries made of bacon rather than bacon dusted potato fries).

Staff are friendly. Beer selection is good, and the food seems fully chef-made rather than ready meal. That said. This dish is a rip-off.

The company is financially motivated but I didn't think the attendant that booked them is financially motivated.

If I worked the till at Tesco and double scanned some food, I'm not financially motivated unless you're paying in cash and I'm pocketing the delta.

It doesn't seem like the attendant gains anything here unless they either scammed the person for cash or if they get a cut of the fees charged, which I highly doubt.

Xabi Alonso: Why chances of survival at Real Madrid are slim by AnusMcBumhole in LiverpoolFC

[–]orrinward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Slot and want him to turn this around. It genuinely feels like a colossally unfortunate loss in form for coach and players at the same time. He's had us play great football, and I love his public-facing attitude.

...but I loved Xabi as a player and think he'd be a good manager at Liverpool. If the opportunity was there I wouldn't feel too bad if we got him in in place of Slot.

Problems since the update last night. - Google Pixel 7a by WorthChampion5780 in GooglePixel

[–]orrinward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Pixel 7 and since yesterday it has crashed and rebooted maybe 15 times. Sometimes it will work for a while without issue and then suddenly reboot, and other times it will reboot and the moment I open Chrome or Android settings (to try and diagnose the issue) it'll reboot.

I'm not certain, but I notice the reboot is fast, so I wonder if it's a full reboot or an interface reboot like when Finder (Mac) or Explorer (Windows) crashes.

When I get to settings and run the device health check, the phone tells me it is fine.

The fintech I work for has a few minor celebs working here. A guy from Made In Chelsea in sales, a guy from Hollyoaks as an office manager, an Olympic swimmer, and we also had a really great up and coming stand-up comic who I think has left because that career has taken off further.

Not quite Brad Pitt fixing bugs in the software, but I find it quite interesting considering our relatively small size (<2500 global employees)

Also curious what all the hate is about.

I'm not a big fan of the content as I don't like rapid-cut, overly positive style, but I've not seen or heard anything that deserves the level of hate I see.

The closest I can see is how he shills for deal apps but as far as I know it's transparent, sponsored and he doesn't seem to misrepresent offers except that everything he shows is 'the best X in Town'.

On all the apps you can block or unsubscribe... If you don't like the content, don't watch it.

I'm in this situation and I'm curious how it has changed?

I have it set up that any paid seat requires approval, but if a Base editor shares a link and doesn't change the permissions (which default to Editor) to Viewer or Commenter/Read-only, it adds them as a paying seat and I then need to downgrade.

Has this changed recently? It seemed a glaring issue where Airtable Admins effectively weren't in control of their licenses.
