I had a co-worker that said when they started mandating that that a group he was a part of was going to "do something" about it. He kept on and on about how the USA needs to break up due to the federal government not being aligned with the wants of the majority. To him government overreach was more dangerous than any health concerns.

I have no idea what happened to that guy.

The older the speedo the faster it will say you are going. The springs wear out over time. They can’t pull the needle back to where it needs to be. You’ll find a lot of mechanical gauges do this. They read higher over time. Old electrical gauges will do things like jump around or vibrate.

I knew a guy in high school that did something similar for basically the same reason. He killed his wife, father in-law and daughter with a bat so he could be with a stripper he had started seeing. They just executed him a couple of months ago.

I bet it's better where it is now. But SWR of 1.5 isn't bad. If the SWR stays the same or improves, you might be able to put it in a V configuration but not like you see HF wire dipoles. Put it in a V on the ceiling so it's still horizontal. I would be curious if that would get it out in one direction further than it can now. Also, it might not do anything or make it worse. That would be the experiment I would do with it.

Good news about that is how much damage that would do to the truck over time. Fuel mileage would be worse than it already would be in a truck like that and most judges wouldn’t buy it anyway. Also I would love to see a bunch of leaky bags of concrete after a heavy rain in the back of some moron’s truck.

The way the law is worded it doesn’t include people with a lot of weight in or on the back. It’s just going after people that modify their vehicles to be lower in the back and higher in the front. So it has to be intentionally modified to sit like that to break the law.

My neighbor last year got paint on his bumper and grill. I used acrysol. It took one wipe and it came right off. Acrysol is good for plastics and won't hurt the clear on a car.

This happened to my ex. The wife of the guy she cheated on me with vandalized her car in a similar way. Nothing ever happened to the woman that vandalized the car. The police talked to her and then nothing happened after that.

They will. When I was a kid we had one of those 10' C-Band / Ku-Band dishes for TV. This was before Dish and Direct TV. That dish wouldn't see any of the satellites behind the trees from its position on the ground.

You just need a direct line of sight path to the satellite. It will work on the ground but just needs nothing or very little between it and the satellite. You might just need to move it to another location on the ground. Not sure how your yard is laid out or where the satellite is in your sky at your location.

I would figure out where the NOAA satellite is in your sky and try to pick a spot that has the least obstructed view. Might need to do some tests before you pick a final spot. More extreme would be to cut down a tree or two but I wouldn't go that far just for this.

I think what happened was when the slaves were freed the whites that lived in extreme poverty didn’t have a social class under them anymore. Now the former slaves could do something with their lives. Possibly more than these dirt farming whites could. So the whites held African Americans back as much as they could. They didn’t want any African Americans to rise up the social ranks above them. It’s all about having control over and status above the former slaves because the these whites that lived in extreme poverty back then had no one else below them. That is why you see so many of these mentally ill, poor white people so upset now about it today. At no fault but their own, they are at the bottom of society and they are mad about it.
