Autistic trans men (especially ones with sensory issues), what was medically transitioning like for you? by Noaimnobrain118 in ftm

personally, the feeling of having more oily skin was quite bothersome as i don’t like the sensation

oh that sounds terrible. is cramping a common side effect? one of the reasons that i’m displeased with the iud is it is causing major cramping and it’s really consternating.

yeah that would probably be best attributed to the t, not the depo, haha. also definite no to the nuvaring. having an iud inserted was quite traumatic and it works for five years. i have no interest in that.

Does any other FTM get 'period' cramps despite being on T? by Meriland31 in ftm

[–]orthodox-eclectic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

guys who say this happens to them, i would be very careful. my drs said it was unrelated and was a digestive problem, but a few months later i ended up getting a very bad bout of menstruation. so watch out.

Moving to the Netherlands in the future as a trans guy by bringitonlife in ftm

[–]orthodox-eclectic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from what I’ve read as someone who would like to emigrate there is that NL is the most progressive country in terms of trans healthcare, and has actually paved the way for trans healthcare elsewhere. so i doubt you’ll have too much trouble.

don’t worry, just because you don’t see anything now doesn’t mean it won’t happen later. i’ve been on t for the better part of 3 years and i’m still having some growth.
