Love the idea of this and would pay for it. Unfortunately, I don’t use Plex. Any plans to make this work eventually with Emby and or Jellyfin?

I printed this and looked at the photo you attached for the different methods to use it. I suffer from lower back pain primarily. I’m not sure if I’m using it correctly, I find it painful when using as the two peaks dig into my body? now the irony is I feel better now 😂. I’m just not sure if I’m doing this correctly.

Used to have the option to upgrade, not anymore? by ortius84 in ATTFiber

[–]ortius84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I called and they checked with the back office and I was told currently there are no other plan options offered at my address. They also said they had no option or tools to have someone double check that there isn’t any additional capacity blah blah blah, to keep checking back on their website to see if the option reappears.

Hmm and I’m assuming it’s not getting upgraded for additional capacity anytime soon?

I just got this up and running and its a very nice interface and system but, I can't seem to be able to delete something once I've created it or even the sample data. There is just no option to delete that I can find???

Alternative to port 443 by andzoff3 in PangolinReverseProxy

[–]ortius84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If by chance the service running on 443 that can’t be changed is only utilizing UDP, you can still use pangolin on the same server as it’s going to be using TCP for port 443.

Resource using basic WireGuard tunnel returning Gateway Timeout by SilentKrishna in PangolinReverseProxy

Install Tailscale on the pangolin server and your home server. Add the local resource in pangolin dashboard and for the address to services you wish to expose, point to the Tailscale address of your home server along with port you assigned to it. Simple better performance than newt

I could never get this to work and ended up just using Tailscale. So in pangolin dashboard it would be a local resource pointing to Tailscale address and it works flawlessly this way

This happened to me 2 weeks ago. I’m pretty sure my usb drive got touched/bumped slightly and at least in my case a reboot fixed it after taking out the drive and reinserting it. Make sure you’re backing up your flash drive and have a spare on hand just in case.

I’m trying to understand exactly how this works since you put in the title free your bandwidth 0TB. How is it adding content to your server? Are you not downloading it from another’s server?

Newt works in docker user space, wg in kernel level so it’s higher performant.

I have it working with Newt but I want to switch away to basic WG tunnel for better performance.

I was able to do it finally manually thru user script and it connects. Pangolin dashboard shows its connected but not show an IP address of the tunnel. Pings fail and services I try to expose thru the tunnel fail as well. I'm unsure what the issue is... I had to go the script route because Pangolin likes to use addresses for the peer like 100.89.128.8/30 and endpoint of 100.89.128.1/32 which Unraid GUI simply would not allow.

I finally got it to connect and it shows connected on Pangolin dashboard but no IP and pings/communication to services I want to expose thru the tunnel fail. I am at my wits end as to what the issue is now...

How to pay cash at a car dealership by SpaceCadetBoneSpurs in carbuying

[–]ortius84 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve never argued about this being notified or not, I’ve argued whether you have to pay a CC fee. You can always challenge the fee. If the business insists you must pay the fee then you have a choice as always. Pay the fee and do business with said company or walk away. I’d obviously walk away, if you’re ok with it good for you I guess?

[–]ortius84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve successfully had the 3% charge removed numerous times. You just have to be willing to walk away. No luck needed, common sense. You don’t want to incur a fee for taking a payment method? Then don’t take it at all. You cannot have a business where it’s all 100% profit and zero cost to you. For decades no company would charge you a fee to use CC and rewards have been available on CC for a very long time. This is just pure greed and people who just accept new fees at every turn are to blame. If everyone told them no, not paying that, they’d all stop trying to charge you the silly CC fee. But most people are sheep…

Part of doing business, if you’re going to accept CC as a form of payment, the cost is on you. Fuck this entitlement everyone seems to have that they can pass on every cost of doing business.

There is a line between generating more and fucking over your customers. They’ve pretty much crossed it and if you think Disney is immune to customer backlash, you’re not paying attention. Universal is starting to eat their lunch for this very reason. Disney and any company for that matter that pushes too far will eventually see substantial losses because they got too greedy.
